Cardiff Airparks

Port Road, Rhoose, Vale of Glamorgan, CF62 3BT

Cardiff Airparks is conveniently located next to the Sky Plaza Hotel, and offers a computerised check-in system to help reduce waiting times in reception.

arrival

Park in one of the marked bays and report to Airparks reception. You may either use the computer check-in point or quote your booking reference to car park staff. Hand over your vehicle keys, and your car is parked for you while you board the transfer shuttle.

Airparks recommends allowing 40 minutes to complete check in and transfer to the airport.

departure

Follow the pedestrian walkway and zebra crossings across the drop-off lanes in front of the airport, and make your way down the steps to the Airparks bus stop and shelter. The bus runs every half an hour. Once at the car park, head to the check-out building to the left of the bus shelter. At one of the machines, scan the barcode on your key collection ticket. The machine will tell you where your car is parked, and your car keys will be returned. Simply collect your car and head home. If you have any problems, just press the assistance button - there will always be a member of staff on hand to help you. If you come back from holiday earlier than planned, please give the car park a call so they can get your car ready for you.

If you chose the Airparks Express/Premium service there is no need for a transfer, as your car will be brought to you at the terminal upon your return. Simply ring the Airparks office on 01446 719 182 after you have passed through the arrivals lounge to arrange for your vehicle to be brought to the front of the building.

what a useless system they have, it takes longer to leave your key and collect it than when you had the surly little girl in the office. we managed to squeeze on the bus to the airport with Mr Happy the driver glaring at you for ruining his day. On the return the bus was out of service, the back up had failed so they had a minibus shuttling backwards and forwards. After the last disastrous time I parked here I was in two minds to go elsewherer but decided to give them another go. That was the last time I will be using this service.

The automated check-in equipment was not working. The staff were extremely rude and customer service non-existant. I will never park my car there again.

the automatic system for retrieving keys caused us quite a delay before we were able to get on the road to home. This was a frustration that we could have done without after being up for over 24 hours

It would be appreciated if one experienced adverse weather (heavy snow) an effort could have been made to assist those using airparks, on their return from holiday to make their cars driveable without having to de-snow or de-ice their cars.

Slight wait to transfer to the airport as coach was leaving as we arrived. I had phoned to find out what times they transferred to the airport, but they were not using the timetable specified. However they did take us within 10 mins of the coach returning. On arrivals the coach arrived promptly and the transfer was excellent
