Stoneham Park Car Park Southampton

        Bus waiting to take me to airport. Phonecall on return was anwered immediatley and transfer arrived within ten minutes. Can't be easier than that. :-)

        We found the booking easy on line, prices as stated, with immediate confirmation of our booking. The directions were very clear and concise from the M27. Arrival and parking at the Park and Ride was a doddle and not stressfull at all. The bus arrived to the rear of our car, cases in the hold, 6/7 minutes to the airport departure area. Stopped alongside the trolleys, cases on, and 1 minutes walk to the terminal building-- so how simple is that!

        We have now used this facility on a number of occasions and can happily report an excellent service each time. The friendly helpful staff assist with luggage (great when you have small children to look after), the transfer is by a modern fleet of busses with seat belts, and you are dropped almost outside the front door. Pick-up is just as smooth with no more than a couple of minutes to wait with a short (and I mean short) walk to the designated pick-up point. Same friendly staff though on the way back! Highly recommneded.

        The only thing I would say is that it's a little expensive for off site car parking. Luton airport on site long stay was quite a lot cheaper.

        Easy to find from the motorway. Bus drew up beside the car to save us struggling with bags. Swift transfer to the airport. No waiting on return journey, bus arrived almost immediately we arrived at stop. Not sure about security of site, no security gates as at other car parks we've used. Site looked pretty open and it was not clear that staff were on duty, except for the bus drivers. Staff really pleasant.

        The driver was very frendly and made the time to wait while I parked my car as we arrived just as he was about to depart for the airport. We were given good instruction about our pick up point, which was only a five minute walk from the terminal. On arrival back in U,K, one phone call was all that was needed for us to contact the driver and we were back at the car park 30 minutes after landing. (It was a late wet November night and we appreciated the good service).

        Outward Was Very Good ,On return We had problems at the airport , My partner being disabled found it very difficult as we could not phone for the pickup , we were sent on various routes to get the bus. we eventually got some. Not very Pleased with that. W.Jordanone to phone for us to be picked up

        Could not fault the staff or carpark, however on the return, although the distance from the terminal to the bus pick up point is a short walking distance it was very difficult pushing a luggage trolly along the pavement and there was no dropped kerb at the bus stop/shelter.

        The coach drivers were outstanding ambassadors for the company. Friendly, helpful and prepared to go the extra mile to make the customer feel genuinely valued. Coach stop was a very wet walk in gale force storm from the terminal. Even if not allowed to park by the terminal some kind of covered walkway to the coach would have been helpful.(Not Meteors responsibility but a thought for future negotiation). Parking price is excellent. I would be pleased to recommend the service to friends.
