very easy to find off moterway.stayed friday night for saturday morning flight feeling great.on return coach was on times stated to return to hotel to pick up car.thanks britannia i will be useing you again

The foyer with bar and restaurant is bright and welcoming while the upstairs corridors are a bit dingy. You need to pass through a raised area to reach the bar and restaurant: not good for someone with difficulty walking up steps. Not much on the dinner menu for anyone not keen on fish and chips, beefburger etc. Very reasonably priced house wine.

I was directed towards a Premier car park at Manchester airport. Only to find it was full and redirected to a general Long Stay Car park. I was not asked to keep my ticket for the pick up and cannot recall the machine returning it to me. As a result I had problems. The airport shuttle bus service was manned by extremely unhelpful drivers. The contrast in service on returning back to the UK is incredible.

The transfer from the Britannia to the Airport first class. Coaches run every 15 minutes and only takes 10 minutes to reach the airport. Pick up from the airport just as good, coach was waiting with the driver on both trips willing to place suitcase in and out of hold with no complaints. Both drivers were friendly and courteous. Superb service.

The directions to the hotel were terrible. We got completely lost and ended up driving around for an hour. When we checked in and went to our room, someone else was actually in the room, so we had to trail all the way back to reception, with our cases, to be allocated another room. When we left the hotel in the morning, the directions to the secure parking were again really bad. i will never stay there again.

Hotel was dirty, lifts were broken(not great when you are staying on the third floor, have three heavy suitcases and a small child) no assistance from was offered by any of the staff, quality of service was poor, would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in!! On return from my holiday I asked the receptionist about a cardigan which I thought I had left in the room, he was most unhelpful and I ended up leaving without the cardigan. There was a happy hour whilst we were in the dining room but we were charged full price for the drinks even though the waiter said we wouldn't be.

Excellent hotel, bathroom very clean and tidy, staff friendly and helpful, furnishings in room modern and in great condition. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

1)because after collecting our baggage we had almost an hour to wait until the next transfer we got a taxi from the airport to the hotel to collect our car. 2)my car was not damaged but I was a bit concerned that I may return to find it damaged as the spaces are very small and I spent a lot of time finding a suitable space for my car which is a VW Passat, not much bigger than the average car. Otherwise I found the hotel and facilities were quite good and reasonable value for money. I would use them again.

I stayed here because of the carpark offer, the hotel was great for my flight from Manchester airport. Good coach transfer service 24 hrs every 30 mins outside hotel, with helpful drivers. Parking was acceptable at the carpark with cctv monitoring (I did see the screens in the hotel, so they do monitor the carpark) I wouldn't stay here other than using the carpark offer.

I find the room needs a coat of paint, bathroom tatty - needs overhaul. Will not use it again.

The transfer only operated every 45 minutes and, although advertised as 3 miles from the airport, the time allowed was 45 minutes as there was another pick-up. This meant an earlier start than I had anticipated and reduced the benefit of staying near the airport as opposed to travelling early from home. On our return, we just missed a transfer bus and again had to wait 40 minutes. Other buses seemed to run more frequently.

Very small room. Bathroom disgustingly filthy, paint flaking off the ceiling, grout filthy. Windows in need of cleaning and the surrounds looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. Toilets in public areas were blocked. Thankfully it was only for one night or we would have checked out immediately. Final impression - don't stay here!

The carpark at the hotel isn't that big, so chances are you'll have to park at the airport. It's not far away though, so it isn't too bad. The rooms were clean, but the decor was tired, especially in the bathroom. The stair wells were very scabby and scruffy but to be honest I had a good night's sleep and the hotel served it's purpose!

The hotel was clean, food ok and value for money. I was however disappointed on our arrival back as there was no one manning reception for the barrier code. There was no buzzer to get attention, I asked a young man at the bar if anyone was around, he said no and carried on cleaning!? After 10/15 mins I was dealt with, I found it to be poor customer service to not have a rep for the hotel on reception as it's the main point of contact for guests arriving and leaving. You only get one chance to make a good impression and as I am in Customer services myself was quite disgusted.
