Cereal, croissants, afternoon sandwiches or cheese and bicuits would be nice. Not really into drinking alcohol in the morning. Quiet and comfortable. Why are there no toilet facilities. The window blinds are not adjustable and it can get quite warm in there. Good choice of drinks.

A good selection of drink and nibbles available. Lounge was busy but supplies were kept topped up. Regular tidy ups by staff kept the lounge clean and tidy. Only downside was we had to leave the lounge to go to the toilets. Would definately use the lounge again.

I have used the lounge at Birmingham twice in the last month and on both occasions found it to be very quiet and relaxing. I have used a lounge at Heathrow before which was very crowded with no available seats when I checked in. It was very noisy, and because of the amount of people in there, very hot!! This did make me think twice about booking another, but thought I would try Birmingham, and this was completely different. On both occasions, only around 12-20 people in there, so plenty of seats. The drink selection is very good, the food is limited to crisps / nuts / cakes / biscuits but comparable to other lounges I have used in the past with the exception of 1 where you could get breakfast items - toast / muffins / sandwiches etc. In all, very good value for money if you don't want to be in the hustle and bustle of the main departure lounges.

Facilities were excellent, good range of drinks and snacks. Lounge was clean at all times. I marked customer services down slightly - there were four of us travelling together but one of our colleagues had booked the Serviceair lounge as opposed to the Aviance by accident. We were informed that there was no flexibility in allowing him access to the aviance lounge, dispite the fact that he is an Emirates gold member, due to the two lounges being run by two different companies. I can appreciate this, but I feel that more flexibility could have been shown.

Whether its value for money is difficult to decide - its quiet, its comfortable but the facilities are minimal.

We have always relished our experiences in the Lounges as a fantastic way to start your holiday. However, our experience this time was far from that purely down to Customer Service. On arrival the lady at the desk didn't even bother to look at us and left us standing there while she chatted away to her colleague and then dismissed us by waving her hand for us to enter. Normally I would have commented on this but chose to ignore this as we were happy at the prospect of our holiday & didn't want any confronation. The drinks on display were limited and everything we asked for she refused to check and just said that if it wasn't there then they hadn't got it. We even had to ask her for wine which she made a point of making us wait for until she was ready to fetch it from the back. We were made to feel extremely uncomfortable each time we approached the drinks area and she even made a point of coming to us and emphasising the fact that our flight was due to board shortly to suggest that we should not have a further drink. I was absoulutely fuming that this person could belittle our party in the manner in which she addressed us. The idea of this facility is that you are allowed unlimited drinks. I totally respect that some people can abuse this facility but we paid our money and were entitled to drink what we chose and we certainly didn't abuse this but were made to feel that we were. I will never, ever use this facility again!!
