Nicer and more civilized than most AA lounges in the US! Had VERY comfortable seating, staff were very attentive and kind. Food was OK, but there was plenty of it and we could eat as much as we wished. If we go this way again, we definitely would use again.

The facilities were tired and shabby. There was nowhere to sit when we arrived. There was a small selection of sandwiches, but there was shellfish (crab? Shrimp?) mixed in with other fillings, which I'm allergic to. Staff were very friendly and cleared plates after people, but the room looked generally grubby. Not very comfortable.

When my family first arrived, there was a little confusion over our entry to the lounge as the receipt did not specify "Mesa" lounge, but it was quickly cleared up. A relaxing, clean and refreshig space in an overcrowded bustling airport. Would do it again in a minute.

There weren't many tables, and we had to ask for some drinks. You couldn't just help yourself to snacks, as I have found in other lounges. On a plus point, there were a few computers with fast internet access. We even managed to watch a live Premiership football match

This lounge is in the new terminal 3 at Cancun International. This terminal serves most of the America Carriers(American, US Airways, United, Alaskan, Northwest, etc.) Although the terminal is new, seating is sometimes limited, and the terminal is very noisy. The lounge is off to the side, away from the hustle and bustle of the terminal, while still only being minutes from the gates. It was fairly large, not at all crowded, and was a comfortable, pleasant place, to pass the time. Multiple large screen TV's are on with different sport and news channels, and their are computers for free internet access, as well as free non-alcoholic drinks(not sure if they charge for alcohol as I don't drink). Many travelers were making the mistake that first class passengers receive access, this is not the case, except for those flying Northwest, or for people staying at the Ritz Carlton or certain other hotels. I flew US Airways, and was glad I was able to spend my time in this lounge, the 22(ish) USD fee is worth it. Walk-ins can get in for 27USD at the time, so I recommend booking it ahead of time to save a few extra dollars.
