The perfect answer to a long stopover between flights. Great food and drink, very comfortable seating, excellent staff, and a very welcome shower. Couldn't ask for more.

Having experienced the journey from the UK to Sydney, I was well aware what to expect on the way back, especially as I was travelling economy class. To make matters worse I had an extended journey from the Gold Coast to Sydney prior to departing Australia. When I arrived at the lounge I think around 12:00 midnight it was very busy and the one shower was in use, not a great start I thought, but I was very impressed that the shower attendant said he would notify me when it was free and I should go and relax. There were no 'comfy' seats free, but plenty of room at the bar and the service I received by the bar staff was exceptional. A few minutes later I was advised the shower was free. What a shower it was! Having travelled for 16 hours I would have been grateful for almost anything, but I was very impressed by the power and temperature. I returned to the bar and was again served promptly. There was such a vast choice of drinks and the attentiveness of the bar staff put most other lounges to shame! I only sampled the sandwiches, but the hot food looked fantastic and there was a wide range of choice. For what I paid the lounge was an absolute bargain and I would highly recommend anyone else making that journey to book it now!

Was travelling by myself with three kids. The lounge allowed me to have one child sleep the other run around and the Middle one to take it easy as she wasn't feeling well. The food selection was great. The place was clean and the staff were super helpful.

Overall, a good experience to the solution of a lengthy stop-over between planes. The lounge was very quite from 9am to lunchtime, which helps with the overall calm. The only drawback is the location in Terminal 1, which is a long way from T3 and most incoming long haul flights. But, overall, well worth the walk to get there.

Fabulous facility and surprisingly good value. Showers were clean and modern, towels etc provided, the breakfast was spot on and the staff could not have been more helpful. Would definitely recommend for longer stop overs.

I felt we would have been more comfortable in the normal airport lounge, just a waste of money.

The Al Reem Lounge was closed (under construction) so I used the Al Dhabi lounge instead. The lounge is quiet, the seats are fine. The facilities are quite adequate. Wifi is good. Breakfast is tasty. My voucher time was ignored (I arrived early and told to stay as long as I liked). Would stay here again.

When I visited it was full and not many spaces if you were in a group and wanted to sit together. It could be cleaned more frequently. However, it was a good place to wait for the flight; the food and drink was of good quality and there were plenty of magazines to read. Blankets were available for those wanting to sleep. I would certainly go again.

Easy to find, only had an hour, service was v good, food was tasty, shower to freshen up, although the water wasn't all that warm. Much nicer than the humdrum outside, it was well worth the money, would use again. Allow 15 mins to Terminal 3
