When I booked the lounge, I was in South Africa, and had to pay in GBP. I assumed I was booking for the lounge in OR Tambo International airport. When I presented my ticket to enter the lounge, I was told quite rudely that I must go to the Domestic lounge, as the booking I had made was not for the international, but for the domestic lounge. I explained that this would be difficult as I was flying to London. The receptionist was not at all helpful, and told me that the only solution was to make another booking online. She didn't offer me the use of a computer or ask me if I had a laptop or an I pad. I was literally chased out. I then went down to the ordinary departure lounge. And telephoned Bidvest. I was treated with respect and given Gavin Bell's name and telephone number. I telephoned him and he apologized. And said I should return to the Bidvest lounge and he would telephone them and sort it out. This I did, and he was as good as his word and had telephoned the receptionist. I was told that I would have to pay the difference between what I had paid (£20) and the cost of the use of the iinternationa lounge. I showed my ticket and was asked what the equivalent in ZAR was of the £20 I had paid. I told the receptionist that it was around ZAR320. She then said they only charge ZAR275 for the use of the lounge and s since I had paid more I would not have to pay anything. I should have checked the ticket, but had no idea that I had booked for the domestic lounge since I had paid in BGP. I feel that the receptionist was rude and unhelpful. I am a 71 year old, and had had a very busy time getting to the airport etc and was a bit flustered when I arrived in the lounge. I was also embarrassed at being spoken to in the way I described in front of quite a few people waiting to be admitted. I am very grateful to Mr Bell for his efficient and sympathetic response. I will use the lounge again as I have children Ian's grandchildren in the UK and travel there at least two or three times a year.

Very eaasy booking through the internet. We had four hours between arriving from Paris and departing for Port Elizabeth. Nice to escape from the crowded and noicy departure hall We really enjoyed the food and drinks. WiFi access was excellent, and newspapers and magazines were available. Just one minor thing; people should not be allowed to occupy a whole sofa to sleep as long as there are so few sofas in the lounge.

For anyone in, between long flights like I was, or embarking on one, the Bidair Services Premier Lounge is just what the doctor ordered. I came expecting to have a quick shower and sit for a while, but was met with exceptionally professional and friendly staff, and wonderful array of food and drink and an all-round great atmosphere. It is easy to provide a good venue with all the trappings, but the difference lies in the personnel and the service they render. They were attentive and extremely helpful and made it, for me, a great experience that will certainly not be my last.

It was our first experience with Bidair Service Premier Lounge and, in comparison with the lounges offered by airway companies, we enjoyed the quality of the lounge during our waiting time.

After a long haul flight from London to Johannesburg, I was delighted to find the BidAir Services Premier Lounge at OR Tambo International (Domestic). It was a great place to freshen up before a connecting domestic flight. Would highly recommend it to anyone who has time at the airport and would like to freshen up and relax.

We had booked this lounge to have a shower and relax after our long flight from Mumbai on way to our next flight to George three hours later. We were disappointed and unhappy to be told that the showers were out of order. The toilets were not very clean either. There was little to eat (we had tea and a bun) Definitely a very unhappy experience. Only positive that staff did point me out to where I could buy some clothes after SA airways had misplaced my suitcase!

I was on international legs and flew from LA to London and then to JHB. I checked onto a domestic flight to George and then needed a shower. It was good to have that facility available but must say that it is very small but did the job. I must assume it is not used much. I used the lounges twice with domestic and once in International in the past 2 weeks. Thanks.
