Financial Times recommends gosimply.com for airport lounges

Wednesday, March 16th, 2011 by Nick

Here at gosimply.com, we’ve always been aware of the benefits that a relaxing start to your journey can have and we’ve always been keen to provide travellers with as much information as possible for the 100’s of airport parking, airport hotel and airport lounge services available. It’s always nice however when someone else recognises our hard work and the service we provide, as did the ‘Financial Times’ just last week.

The Stress of the Airport Terminal

Avoid the stress of the airport terminal

In their article, the Financial Times were talking about the various ways in which travellers could lessen the niggles and discomforts that economy flights of 4 hours or more can inflict and, you’ve guessed it, pre-booking an airport lounge was one of those recommendations.

Enjoy The Comfort Of An Airport Lounge

Relax In Style Before Boarding Your Flight

An airport lounge can help you to relax and get into the right frame of mind before you even board the flight. With prices starting from as little as £13.50 per person and inclusive of drinks and snacks, as well as other facilities to help you pass the time in comfort, an airport lounge is a far cry from the hustle and bustle of the main terminal building. As the ‘Financial Times’ so kindly pointed out, this is where “Sites such as ‘gosimply.com’ can help”.

So next time you’re planning a journey, whether for business or pleasure, why not plan ahead and rather than dreading the airport experience, look forward to it as a welcome part of the overall journey plan.

gosimply crop circles spotted in UK

Thursday, September 17th, 2009 by Casey

gosimply.com crop circle spotted in rural field…extraterrestial phenomenon or elaborate hoax?

The increasingly ubiquitous “gosimply face” now seems to have been picked up by alien visitors in their attempts to communicate with Earthlings through designs created in unsuspecting farmers’ fields.  While some people are quick to dismiss these giant works of art as nothing more than man-made hoaxes, many believe that UFOs and their otherworldly crews are behind the phenomena.

At present, none of these ET’s have phoned authorities (at home or otherwise) to explain the reasons behind this sudden outbreak of gosimply crop circles.  The Travel Product Authorities here at gosimply HQ, however, have every reason to believe that even life forms from other galaxies have discovered the benefits of using gosimply.com – whether parking their spaceship at the airport, snoozing in an airport hotel, or trying to blend in with us human folk by hiring a car.

In an amazing instance of coincidence, Google is spelling out their logo using the phenomenon of crop circles on the same day that gosimply crop circles have been spotted throughout the UK.We’ve always said that smart people gosimply, and now it appears that even beings of extraterrestrial intelligence do the same.

gosimply.com Reveal Hidden Dragon in the Den

Tuesday, September 15th, 2009 by Casey

gosimply.com has today unveiled the face behind its recent “Guess Who?” contest. Visitors that correctly identified the dragon behind the smiley logo were treated to some exclusive travel discounts, including 15% off travel insurance, 10% off airport parking, hotels and lounges and 5% off car hire.

James Caan with gosimply.com directors, James Burrows and Tim Hagger

Now that the contest has closed, we are pleased to announce the hidden face belongs to James Caan of the popular BBC2 programme Dragon’s Den!

Just as Mr. Caan invests in people who demonstrate the potential for success, we at gosimply.com take pride in offering our customers the simplest means of  booking their travel extras to ensure their holiday’s success.

Company directors James Burrows and Tim Hagger, had the pleasure of meeting with James Caan recently – although according to some  gosimply.com  customers,  they could have equally been face to face with Alan Sugar, Duncan Bannatyne or even Simon Cowell! Perhaps they were more crouching tiger, than hidden dragon…

Congratulations to all of our winners, commiserations to the unsuccessful participants, and a big thank you to “Dragon” James Caan for the use of his picture.

Keep your eyes open for bigger and better competitions from us here at gosimply in the future, and have fun being one of the smart people who gosimply.

BBC recommends gosimply for best airport parking deals

Thursday, August 13th, 2009 by Casey

gosimply HQ is abuzz with the news that the BBC’s Working Lunch programme has recommended us for finding the best deals on airport parking.

In the recently-aired working-lunch-bbc-blogsegment, presenter Ben Shore says that if you’re looking to save money (and let’s face it, who isn’t?) then your best bet is to pre-book your airport parking on gosimply.com.

Hey, we know there are other so-called “comparison sites” out there (and believe us, we’ve tried them all), but we’re confident there are none easier to use, with more useful information, than gosimply.

So next time you need airport parking, an airport hotel or lounge, worldwide car hire or even a great price on travel insurance, you’ll find no better place online to sort all your travel extras than right here, where you can join the thousands of other smart people who gosimply.

Air Cargo in Decline at Amsterdam Airport

Monday, June 8th, 2009 by Nick

Although there has been much emphasis on how the credit crunch has affected passenger air travel, little has been reported on the impact that the economic slow down has had on international air freight business.

Amsterdam Airport Traffic Stats

Amsterdam Airport Traffic Stats

Amsterdam Airport, one of Europe’s main air freight centres, saw volumes of air cargo fall by 31% between May 08 and April 09. Other European airports have also seen steady declines, with reported falls of 21.2% at Zurich, 22.8% at Madrid and 23% at London Heathrow within the same period.

Although worldwide passenger numbers dropped dramatically last year, there have been encouraging signs of recovery, with Amsterdam Airport reporting a sharp increase between March and April 09. The increase in passenger numbers is not only good news for operators flying in and out of Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport, but also for the local economy, tourism and service sectors at the airport including retail outlets and operators of the Amsterdam Airport Lounges.

Gatwick Airport No.1 Lounge proves a favourite

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009 by Casey

The No. 1 Lounge serving Gatwick Airport’s South Terminal is proving a favourite with travellers, resulting in only a few spaces left for the first part of May 2009.

No 1 Lounge at Gatwick AirportThe lounge opened earlier this month and has quickly proven to be a popular choice for air travel passengers flying out of Gatwick.  Between the 3rd and 9th of May the lounge has almost reached its capacity, so if you’re thinking of booking your stay at this great new lounge it’s a good idea to act now!

Of course, if you miss out on the No. 1 Gatwick Lounge you can still choose the Servisair Lingfield Lounge, which features many of the same amenities and also serves the South Terminal.

Don’t forget, our pre-booking service allows you to reserve a space at an airport lounge. Enjoy some V.I.P luxury away from the ever-present chaos of the terminal building.

Gatwick Airport lounge opening delayed

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009 by Casey

The opening of the No.1 Gatwick Airport lounge, scheduled for today, has been delayed until 13 April 2009 due to the construction taking longer to complete than originally planned.

No 1 Lounge at Gatwick AirportThis amazing new lounge serving Gatwick Airport’s South Terminal blends modern and classic design to stunning effect.  Windows from floor to ceiling provide fantastic, panoramic views of the runway and surrounding countryside, and guests will be able to treat themselves to a freshly-prepared meal or relaxing drink from the bar.

Destined to become a popular haven for customers wanting VIP airport lounge treatment, the No. 1 Lounge will be available to pre-book with gosimply.com as soon as it opens for business.
