Summer Special Parking to serve Gatwick North Only

Friday, February 13th, 2009 by Casey

Summer Special Parking at Gatwick Airport has recently announced they will only serve the North Terminal as of the 2nd of March 2009.

Although the car park will only provide transfers to the North Terminal, travellers flying out of the South Terminal can still take Gatwick’s free monorail service, which departs from the North every six minutes and takes around two minutes to reach the South.

As always, we have plenty of great options for parking at Gatwick that serve both terminals, like the ever-popular APH Parking, the gosimply Award-winning Cophall Farm Parking or, for the ultimate in convenience, try one of our Gatwick meet and greet parking services.

Summer Special stops service to Gatwick South

As of the 2nd of March 2009, BAA has announced that the Summer Special car park at Gatwick Airport will no longer serve the South Terminal.  Customers who have already booked parking, or are returning on or after that date, will be contacted.

Although Summer Special will no longer be shuttling customers to and from the South Terminal, there are several great options still on offer that provide this service.

APH Parking (a gosimply Award-winner for December 2009!), Cophall Farm Parking, and Gatwick’s Official Long Stay car park are some of our most popular facilities who continue to provide complimentary transfers to either both terminals, or the South exclusively.
