The staff on check-in were more than polite as we arrived a little later than anticipated and it was very busy. The rooms were one of the best we had stayed in and the beds were very comfortable. We didn't eat at the hotel as the prices are quite steep for a family of four. We did however use the bar and the staff were also friendly there too and the prices are about average for drinks. If we flew from Birmingham again and we could get the parking/hotel deal again I would not have any second thoughts about satying here.

Arrived at hotel & no problems with booking in. Efficient, friendly receptionist. However, we had paid for breakfast but on arriving in the restaurant we were told that breakfast was not included. The member of staff was was not particularly polite & went to check. When she came back she said it was a mistake but her attitude was not good. Apart from that I would say everything else was good.

The room was OK but being near the elevator the sound of the lifts could be heard (no. 333) Bed comfortable. Bathroom well fitted and clean. Excellent location, walking distance from airport and 90 second ride on tram to NEC. I visit an exhbition at NEC every November and find this hotel the most convenient and value for money.

Just 20 yards from terminal. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms fairly basic but quite adequate when overnighting for an early flight. Car access very straight forward. Did not use dining room. Breakfast starts quite early.

We paid £90 for a family of four, and the room was comfortable and the breakfast was really brilliant, with friendly staff and great food.

everything was great except for the lady at reception who spoke to us in a manner which made us feel very inferior. she was not at all welcoming, shame as the restaurant staff were great

Perhaps we were too early for a fresh breakfast. The 'scrambled egg' was like rubber and the 'bacon' was like a rubber doormat. Thankfully I did not pay for the breakfast after complaining.

For anyone looking for a hotel to be on the door step of the airport terminal, then the Novotel Birmingham Airport is the one to book. It avoids all the hassle and stress of knowing that you can sleep easy for an early morning flight or a late arrival back to the UK, where there is no public transport available. In my opinion it is a smart choice to make.
