Excellent hotel, good staff, clean and ideally situated for Airport. Will be using this hotel again, very satisfied. Hotel in a town so bit more freedom to look around.

A lovely hotel. I can highly recommend it. Ours was a beautiful big room well stocked with all the usual complimentary bits and bobs. We had holiday parking at the hotel and hassle free transfers to and from the airport just a couple of miles away. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful... even for one of our transfers at 5 o'clock in the morning. We met with friends for a meal in the very smart upmarket restaurant, and while the meals aren't cheap the quality of the food was excellent. Our dining experience was marred a little. Firstly my wife ordered lamb, and got just lamb. Because it's one of those upmarket restaurants where you have to specify potatoes and vegetables when you order else you don't get any, which I find both irritating and a little embarrassing. (Yes, I'm sure it says so somewhere on the menu but we were too busy catching up with old friends to pay much attention.) And secondly, the desserts tended to be disappointingly tiny and 'drizzled'. I know it's down to personal preference but my preference along with many other folk I suspect is for at least one dessert menu item that is hearty and served swimming in custard. (They can even call it Creme Anglaise in order to maintain their most excellent standards if it makes them happy.)

Car park space finding almost impossible. Suggestion on park and fly bookings reserve spaces for those specific bookings. Also car has no protection from public parkers in tge hotel and not secure through the stay period. Car should have been more secure in my opinion. Other than that great service.

Our overnight stay was great. The room was just right and had all the amenities we needed. The transfer to the airport was on time and we were safely driven the short distance to the airport terminal. Our instructions for the return journey were clear and the meeting point to pick up the transfer van was pointed out to us. When we returned from our holiday however, we were not told that there was a change of plan and the ambiguous conversation about meeting near the taxis was misleading. It turned out that the transfer van was not picking us up as the driver was on a day off. However they arranged for a taxi to take us back to the hotel. It took a good 20 mins in the cold weather before I decided to call again to check where our pick up was that should have only taken approx 7 mins. It was then that they explained to go to the actual airport taxis and get a ride back. Customer service wise, I was not impressed - no apology for mis-communication and we were tired from our flight. Shame it did not end so well whereas our initial stay at the beginning of the holiday and car parking was excellent.

Great deal, family room was plenty big enough for the four of us, and toiletries towels, and drinks facilities left to cater for 4 and did not have to consider asking for more. Lovely continental breakfast with plenty to cover fussy children! Transfer to and from the airport very efficient and cannot do anything other than recommend.

We used this hotel as a park and fly for East Midlands airport and found it excellent. The shuttle service was brilliant, we had an early flight but someone was in reception waiting to take us to the airport as soon as we came down. When we got back we gave them a call to come and collect us from the airport and they were only 5 mins. Much better than waiting for a taxi or coach or even trying to find the car! The food was lovely, if a little overpriced. The rooms were spotless and very comfy. Would definately recommend this hotel. Great price for parking and a one night stay!

We stayed at the Best Western before flying from East Mids. The room was clean, modern and spacious and far exceeded my expectations ; offering a wide variety of beverages and bath robes to relax in. The transfer to the airport was at the exact time that we had requested , and arrived promptly on calling them from the airport on the return journey. On arriving back at the hotel, the bus driver dropped us right next to our car and carried our bags to the car for us! Faultless service!! Will definitely be flying from East Mids and staying here again!, rather than Birmingham which is our usual choice of airport.

Very nice, clean room. Decent size bathroom. No noise from the planes which were flying straight over the hotel. We left the car for 2 weeks at the car park. Transfer to airport was excellent , 5 min travel the driver dropped us at the same spot where they pick you after your holiday. We were given a key ring with the Hotel's number to ring when we came through customs, neat little idea. Driver was with us within 5 mins. Very relaxing experience from start to finish of our holiday . Would recommend this hotel to anyone using East Midlands Airport.
