Entrance is enviting...customers service was ok Given room - lights did not work. The room was at the far end of the hotel and we had to walk all the way back with our luggage to ask fro another room. Second room had not been cleaned - again walked for miles and waited for ages Thrid room was another long walk and confusing directions. Room was small with bed against the wall so very difficult to get in & out. Mattress so soft we rolled to the centre of the bed - aweful sleep if any at all. Shower was dismal. Water took ages to warm up and then only stayed at luke warm temp....you had to put it on full power for the luke warm temperature - if oyu turned it down then it got cold...so my shower was at full power which was abit much. There was a sign asking to keep the shower curtain in side the shower cubicle - which I did - however the shower tray leaked and water soaked out and when I got out the shower ther was water under neathe the actual floor tiles that squelched as you took a step. Terrible. Pros were that our car was safe on our return, The changes of rooms was no issue for them (even though it was for us) At least the water was some what warm in the shower and not ice cold There were tea making facilities in the room - much needed and enjoyed Cons - they could have actually helped us get to our rooms instead of us walking about change after change. Aweful mattress

OK - so the hotel isn't the best in the world, but for one night prior to flying out from Gatwick a twin room and 16 days parking for £75...... I'm not complaining.... Transfer service was easy and on time, only had to wait 15 mins after arriving in Gatwick for the transfer back to the hotel too... Would definitely use again.

We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions now and find it excellent value for money. The rooms are clean and comfortable and some have been recently decorated. The parking arrangements are very good and because you keep your keys you now that no-one has access to your vehicle until you return. Highly recommended!

The hotel was difficult to find,it was dated and needs modernising.Your first view is the reception which is dark and dingy. The room was tidy and had good facilities, but had no windows to open and just a small window in the roof to let light in, which made the room stifling hot with no fresh air. We eat in the bar, the food was typical Pub Grub and was ok, though there is a better option of a carvery. Although it done the job, I will not be using this hotel again.

The Russ Hill Hotel suited our needs well and the transfers to and from Gatwick were fine. On our return due to some delay we needed to stay overnight and they managed to allocate a room for our purposes.

As we arrived back in UK 11 pm found there was no half hour service. The bus you need goes in 2 different directions through the night so we got on rode to Europer waited for driver to have his half hour break, back to airport and then finally on to Russ Hill. So perhaps not a suitable hotel airpark for those late night arrivals!

I stay away in hotels every day with work and this was the worst I have ever stayed in. The room was cramped, the shower didn't work properly & the temperature was so hot in the room I thought I was going to pass out. You couldn't pay for the transfers on card without charge. There was no Internet so we had to drive to Crawley to use it & the staff didn't speak good English. This all said the transfers were good & a well placed drop off & pick up.

The room was adequate and clean without any extras. The restaurants and food was very good as was the service. It was very good value for a 1 night stay and 1 weeks car parking and the transfers and timetables were very good. But we found the hotel rather run down and in need of an update although in lovely surroundings. We wouldn't like to stay more than 1 night and wouldn't recommend anybody else to.
