As the hotel had several functions on that day car parking was at an extreme premium. Although overflow car parking was available we were only able to find out about this by checking with reception. A minor problem to an otherwise excellent stay.

Didnt get much sleep as people obviously outside hotel smoking till very late and it made it very noisy. Would have complained but had to be up very early for airport transfer so didnt seem worth it

The hotel was rather grim, but for the price it was ok. The car park was not too far, and close to the motorways, the bus service there and back were also good.

I was on time for the airport transfer but others who had booked it were not - so we waited. I've never understood how the person who arrives on time is kept waiting around for those who are late. It doesn't make sense to me. The driver dropped me off first though so he was almost forgiven!

Hotel was fine. We ate out and up too early to sample the breakfast. Hotel room was clean and tidy. The pain was not being able to park at the hotel for the duration of the holiday; the carpark was more difficult to get to than was described in the handout provided.

The hotel was easily found check in was efficient and the morning phone call was on time(4;30 am). We did not have breakfast but the meal in the associted restaurant was a plesant experince with effective friendly service

Excellent customer service and good value for money. It was quite far from the airport parking, making it a long journey in traffic. There is a club under the hotel, which didn't cause any problems with noise, but did cause me concerns as to how safe my car was at the hotel overnight, however no issues arose. Staff were helpful in giving directions to the car park.

check in busy but efficient. got a room within 15 mins. had a long flight so needed a good nights sleep-got it. Breakfast staff very helpful All in all graet

The hotel itself is very average, but OK for the price. However, it is expensive to get to - 15 by taxi from the airport. Also I had to pay for transfers back to the airport even though they were shown as included in the price when I booked, so take some proof of this.

Travelling can be traumatic,but was made easy by Mark.Collection of car was stress free by him outward.He was waiting as we left the airport on return.Well done! The Hotel was good value as well.I would recommend this package to anyone.

Having booked a twin room some 4 weeks prior to staying at the hotel we found that the only room available when we arrived at 11.30pm was a double. The night receptionist had no solution to this other than recommending another hotel although when he contacted his manager a camp bed was suggested and we were advised that a porter would be dispatched immediately to set this up. 45 mins later the porter duly arrived however as he had no understanding of english he was confused as to what he had to do and had arrived to change the sheets on the bed which was already there! After another discussion with the night receptionist he came up himself to sort this out and, a camp bed was duly set up with bed sheets only. Upon requesting a duvet this was handed over but with no cover! While the morning staff were most apologetic, the experience of the night before was abysmal and the last thing needed after a full day of travelling. All-in-all I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

i was misled by your site making me think that my car was to be parked at hotel whereas i had half hour drive to car park - apparently many many people have similar experience; otherwise actual hotel was fine

time from cresta hotel was a bit tight 20 mins at 6.30 a.m.wouldn't like to try it in morning rush hour & waited 35 mins for return pick up both sets off staff spot on though

DO ASK what the off-site car parking will entail for you to do - BEFORE you book the hotel. This Cresta Hotel service looks cheap but takes alot of your time to deposit your car far away. Other hotels might look a bit more expensive but they take your car away and deliver it back to the hotel if you are paying for off site parking. Don't get fooled! Also the duty manager was rude to me. When I expressed dissatisfaction with the service, he wouldn't be honest enough to give me his name!

Excellent over night stay and would consider a weekend stay. if flying again at Manchester would use this hotel. highly recommended if you dont mind travelling to the car park for the airport parking.

Car had to squeeze into a tight space as this was the only space left, cars behind had to park off the premises. Great though to have a five beded room which serves our larger family well and keeps costs down. Overall, quite basic but did us fine for the night!

Everything was perfect EXCEPT oh who upset the driver when we came back we called for a lift back to the Cresta he questioned us re amount of luggage questioned us re our surnames was not very happy with amount of luggage then went on to pick up others WHO were not there when he first went and did they get a licking "Where were you here they said NO yue were not he said then threw their luggage in Temper Temper

when we returned to airport we called for bus/taxi from hotel to pick us up. They gave us directions as to where to wait. After 3omins our transfer had not taken place and we called the hotel again they then told us to wait somewhere else!They had not called us to tell us we were in the wrong place we then had to wait another while before the bus eventually arrived. Not good when you are waiting with 3 children.

Firstly , we were never made aware at any stage during booking that we have to keep a gap of 1 hour from leaving the hotel to the carpark and back at airport.We were told it is about 15-20 minutes away, but not the fact that the carpark is in totally opposite direction from the Airport. Secondly , the directions from hotel to carpark were really confusing after the Mariott hotel. At 4.30 am in the morning with not a person in sight we got totally lost while looking for the car park . Finally when we phoned the car park , the person at the phone couldn't have been more rude and unhelpful and actually told us at 5.10am that we do not have enough time to go to the car park and return back to the Aiport in time to check in for our flight , due to fly at 7.30am. We ended up parking in T2 Carpark and paid 39 for the 3 days . I am considering lodging a complaint to get some or all of money back from the carpark authorities. Can i also add that the lady receptionist at the Cresta court was most unfriendly and it took us 25-30 minutes to find a car parking space at the hotel at night before due to a party in the hotel.
