When asked to be moved to a quieter room staff very helpful and efficient. Even though it is a busy and popular hotel it gives good customer service and the hotel is clean and modern. A lot of cars in the long stay car park so it can be difficult to find a free space.Transfers to airport terminals every 20mins-reliable and efficient. Excellent leisure facilities.

Room was comfortable, only had breakfast, which was a hot/cold buffet type. About a 10 minute transfer by hopper coach to the airport. Would use this hotel again.

Unfortunately there was a window banging all night in the next room (Boiler room, I think)Kept us unrested (A point when your not quite awake but are aware of what is happening) most of the night. When I explained to the receptionist the next day, she replied, " I am realy sorry, but theres not alot that I can do for you, as you've already paid". It was supposed to be a restful night before a long haul flight.

Room slightly cramped - spoilt by a false fire alarm causing disrupted sleep (our flight was 06:20 am!). Food adequate but rather expensive with no obvious nearby alternative. Parking and transfer arrangements clear and efficient.

The hotel was really easy to find and what a lovely location. So near (Manchester) Airport, but in the middle of a Nature Trail. The staff at Receiption were really efficent and helpful, and this was repeated in the Dining Room where we had a really lovely breakfast. The bedroom and bathroom was tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. There was a TV in the room and for small suppliment you could hire the latest movies, this must be great if you have children to keep amused. The price was amazing and we also had up to 8 days parking included. All in all a very enjoyable relaxing start to our holiday. I would certainly recommend Holiday Inn to family and friends and woul not hesitate to use it again in the future.

we had expected to drive home after landing,but due to long delays because of aircraft problems,I had to request a room for that night ,reception and bar staff pleasant and helpfull,in booking and and a late meal. bed room was larger and comfortable

Overall good value for money but did not pay much so could not expect too much.

The Hotel Service was good and car parking on site was a help. However when we checked in we were given a Manchester Airport Shuttle Bus timetable which indicated that the last bus to return from Terminal 2 to the Holiday Inn on our return from holiday was around 11pm. Our transfer to the Airport was fine but our return flight was delayed for several hours and landed after 11pm. I contacted Holiday Inn who assisted in arranging a taxi to collect us but I had to pay £8 for the pleasure. When I made the booking I did expect that the transfer would be included both ways regardless of late flights and was disappointed with this aspect of our experience.

although rooms were small we took a travel cot for our 1 year old daughter and there was sufficient space to accommodate this. Transfers are prompt and regular.

The hotel experiance was a very good giving me a special start to my holiday, the rooms were quiet even though there was a wedding reception taking place in the hotel. We did not hear any aircraft noises even though the hotel is close to the side of the runway, The meals were ok and reasonably priced. Transfers were all ok and the buses were on time both ways.

The hotel is much further from the airport than the website suggests and the airport transfer times are limited - be sure to check that it runs when you want it or its a £25 taxi ride. Car parking had limited availability when we arrived and car wsa put in short stay. Returned to find the cars wing and bumper damaged and although not the hotel or helpful staffs fault, it somewhat spoiled the end to a good holiday.

The rooms were rather small but, spotlessley clean and tidy. If you are flying out early in morning as we were, the breakfast starts at 04.30 and is not really open until 05.00, we had to keep asking for coffee to be made and food items as, none were readily available. Bus service to and from airport was excellent and can not be faulted. Worth the money and ideally located for airport, rather than being in middle of no where miles from airport. I would certainly use this hotel again in the future.

hotel was lovely, facilities were excellent. we had problems with airport transfers as the hotel fialed to give us tickets for the bus transfers. we had to pay on the bus but when we went back to the hotel we were refunded the money without any problems. car park facilities were ok but car park was very full and had few spaces.

hi used this hotel when travelling from manchester airport for our holidays. we used the allocation after booking which meant we didnt know what hotel we were getting till after we booked. We had hoped it was the holiday inn as we were keen on their leisure facilities and it was recommended by family. We travelled from central scotland and unfortunatly road works on the motorway caused us to miss our turn off and we got very lost. When we found the hotel we were pleasantly surprised. We had time to relax and use the leisure facilities and found it relaxing prior to our early flight. The room was very small but well appointed and comfortable. The transfers to our terminal at the airport was excellent. Would we use this company and hotel again? DEFINITELY. John and Sandra. Scotland.

Average hotel that was made a really special experience by incredibly high level of customer service. I travel frequently and used to work in hotel industry so am not that easily pleased but all staff were very helpful and went that extra mile that you don't often see. Parking was secure but not that huge that is was difficult getting car back and transfers were easy. Would highly recommend.
