I found the directions from Inverness to long stay park confusing. I drove down the 400metres tree lined road but found no parking, so I drove into the airport parking convinced that I had not arrived in the parking area that I had prebooked. At 06.00 the staff at information were unable to reassure me that I was correctly parked.

All worked just fine, Given some vehicles (like my farm truck) have 4wd, could extend the lot to the rough ground for overflow.

On arrival long stay car park was full to overflowing. However on calling for assistance a calm and very friendly voice directed us to the alternative parking area. thankfully panic was averted and we able to continue to our flight. On return a continuation of friendly and pleasant attention from the young man who verified our parking ticket and wished us a safe journey home. Kind regards daniel and Joan Main

Very pleasant staff at all times. Not all that clear to get back to the parking area. Fine getting there.

Good value for money. No parking staff in evidence and lucky to find a space. Longer walk to terminal than expected but still doable with my arthritis. No evidence of a transfer system other than my feet. Could be a problem with lots of luggage. Otherwise, good value.

Have already reviewed this parking approx 1 year ago and I'm sad to say nothing has changed. Its still has no transfer and it is still too dark and exposed late at night. Again, not really a problem for me but my sister expressed concerns. Also, it would be a horrid walk if the weather was bad. On the positive side, there were spaces, (not so for my sister who arrived a couple of days earlier and had to wait for a space to come available.) Also, validation of parking, on our return, was straightforward.

Booking and driving instructions were good. The walk to the Airport building is long, perhaps twenty minutes, and the surface of the track is broken up. If I had a pram, a child and luggage the walk would have been impossible, especially as you have to cross traffic two or three times. It is not possible for everyone to get a lift direct to the Airport. When I returned to Inverness Airport the car park had a "full" sign which would have been an added stress to the journey.

The entrance & exit arrangements went as planned. What I hadn't appreciated was the distance from the parking area to the terminal. This has to be walked (possibly with luggage) since the airport does not operate a shuttle service. I estimate the distance as at least a quarter of a mile - so a problem for elderly/disabled people; and for anybody when it is raining - as it was when we arrived. Surely Inverness can do better than this.
