"Good car parking close to hotel. Warm,friendly and helpful staff on reception both in evening and next morning. A good, half price full english breakfast deal offered even though we had not originally booked breakfast. We were able to walk to airport, check our bags in and come back to the hotel for a leisurely breakfast. Small but comfortable room which had extra sound insulation from triple glazing which ensured a very quiet night's sleep. We would not hesitate to fly from Newcastle again and stay at the Brittania. It's the best start to a holiday abroad that we have ever had."

"Really disappointed that this came up in the search of an airport hotel with parking facilities as it did not have transfer to the airport and we had to pay for taxis. Had I known this prior to booking I would not have stayed."
