This lounge was excellent value for money and a lifesaver when travelling (hotel to home) for 40 hours. Staff were very friendly and efficient and the lounge itself was a calm and peaceful haveb in a busy airport. Showers were immaculate and, to my surpise, came complete with towels, toiletries, toothbrushers etc. I am very impressed and will use this lounge whenever I have a lengthy wait between planes.

Okay, it isn't The Ritz but it is a welcome stop if you have hours between planes. Wi-fi works. Showers need to be booked - the male was cramped but okay but the female was apparently very luxurious. Food isn't bad. Beers only alcohol that's free. I'd go there again definitely.

I'm not up on the Asian food at this lounge but the Western food is rubbish. The "sandwiches" comprise two slices of crustless white bread with a single 1mm strip of meat between them; utterly tasteless and disgusting. For the price of entry to this lounge, the poor food coupled with no alcoholic drinks (except cans of beer) provided in the cost of entry, it's actually quite pitiful. Moreover, the male toilet facilities were not very clean at all. Two stalls are clearly woefully inadequate, even with the lounge about half full and causing lineups. When I asked a staff member if these were the only toilets available in the lounge, they directed me to the toilets OUTSIDE of the lounge in the general public area which, by the way, were spotlessly clean. Unless you have a fairly long transit time, I'd recommend you give this lounge a miss. I've experienced much much better than this. It's a real shame since the lounge is fairly new and looks nice.

I had booked into the Lounge in the East Hall but was very tired and found the lounge in the West Hall first so checked in there. This isn't nearly as nice as the lounge in the East Hall. Couldn't relax as much and the food didn't seem to be as nice. I wanted some peace and quiet but there were some very nosiy mobile phone users in the loung which made this impossible. Surely you could set aside an area where mobile phones aren't allowed or a small area where they can be used?

Overall the lounge was nice and comfortable apart from the air-con was set to freezing and hard to get away from. A little more privacy in the seating would be nice. The food was adequate but charging for a house wine seems a little petty.

The lounge was a comfortable area for rest. However, my purpose for using the lounge was to have a shower. Fortunately I asked about the shower the moment I arrived as I really needed one in transit. I was told there was a queue of 10 people ahead of me! That was a surprise as I thought there would have more shower areas but there is only one, I think. So we have to put our name down for booking. When I was called I was told the maximum time I can use the shower is 20 minutes. That was a bit stressful as women may take a little longer. So there is no way to wash my hair or apply makeup. Also in January it was really cold in HongKong. The shower do not really have hot water and the pressure was low, so I ended up with a superficial wash.

Excellent place for some peace and quiet and to put your feet up with toilets close by. Shame they didn't have the facility for hot food or more substantial cold food like sandwiches but they did have crisps and nuts and cheese and crackers as well as muffins and cake so enough to get you through. Would definitely use again.
