Gatwick Meet & Greet Parking Service Exposed by BBC Programme

Written by Casey

BBC One’s Rogue Traders programme recently uncovered dodgy doings committed by a company providing meet and greet parking at Gatwick Airport.

It was revealed that drivers employed by ACE Parking UK were speeding in customers’ cars and parking them in un-secure car parks, including one site that was targeted by arsonists last October.

ACE Parking owner Colin Wells said he “took his eye off the ball for awhile”, but that he has now taken “drastic action” including purchasing speed guns for the cars and sacking the drivers who were caught speeding by the Rogue Traders crew.

Mr. Wells, who is also a stripper, was confronted in the middle of performing what he thought was a strip routine for a hen party, which was actually set up by the BBC programme.  Despite not having any issues with the problems highlighted on the show, he admits he was not happy with the way he was exposed, stating it was only an attempt to discredit him as a businessman. offer reputable, well-known airport parking providers such as Airparks and Maple Manor Parking, so you can rest assured that when you book your airport car parking with us your vehicle will be safe and secure.
