Financial Times recommends gosimply.com for airport lounges

Wednesday, March 16th, 2011 by Nick

Here at gosimply.com, we’ve always been aware of the benefits that a relaxing start to your journey can have and we’ve always been keen to provide travellers with as much information as possible for the 100’s of airport parking, airport hotel and airport lounge services available. It’s always nice however when someone else recognises our hard work and the service we provide, as did the ‘Financial Times’ just last week.

The Stress of the Airport Terminal

Avoid the stress of the airport terminal

In their article, the Financial Times were talking about the various ways in which travellers could lessen the niggles and discomforts that economy flights of 4 hours or more can inflict and, you’ve guessed it, pre-booking an airport lounge was one of those recommendations.

Enjoy The Comfort Of An Airport Lounge

Relax In Style Before Boarding Your Flight

An airport lounge can help you to relax and get into the right frame of mind before you even board the flight. With prices starting from as little as £13.50 per person and inclusive of drinks and snacks, as well as other facilities to help you pass the time in comfort, an airport lounge is a far cry from the hustle and bustle of the main terminal building. As the ‘Financial Times’ so kindly pointed out, this is where “Sites such as ‘gosimply.com’ can help”.

So next time you’re planning a journey, whether for business or pleasure, why not plan ahead and rather than dreading the airport experience, look forward to it as a welcome part of the overall journey plan.

Free Breakfast At Holiday Inn Express Just Got Hotter

Wednesday, June 9th, 2010 by Casey

Remember the last time you stayed in a hotel and found the complimentary breakfast a bit disappointing?

Better than toast alone?

Better than toast alone?

What was it?  A slice of toast with a small packet of jam in your least favourite flavour?  Or was it a day-old apple danish you had to struggle to chew and swallow?  A child-size packet of cold cereal maybe?  I suppose your day could only go ‘up’ from there…

How does this sound, though?  Imagine tucking in to a FREE hot breakfast that includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, warm pastries and fresh, hot coffee (including cappuccino and espresso)!

No, you’re not dreaming.  All this can be yours when you book a hotel stay at one of the locations currently on offer from gosimply.com, like the Holiday Inn Express Birmingham or the Stansted Airport Express by Holiday Inn.

And remember, no matter which Holiday Inn Express you choose, breakfast is included in the price of your room, leaving you with a full stomach and slightly fuller pockets to boot.

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010 by Casey

It was announced this week that Thomas Cook, the second-largest leisure travel group in the UK, has acquired 100% of Think W3 Limited, owners of Essential Travel.

Essential Travel has been acquired by Thomas Cook

Essential Travel has been acquired by Thomas Cook

The move to acquire Essential Travel is in line with Thomas Cook’s strategy to become a leading travel-related services provider by expanding their online presence in this sector.

The purchase price was not revealed, but Essential Travel is one of the leading suppliers of travel-related products in the UK, with gross assets of £2.5 million reported for the financial year that ended 31 March 2009.

Manny Fontenla-Novoa said, “We continue to believe a strong position in the direct travel insurance market is strategically important.  Furthermore, we expect that together with the experienced directors of Essential Travel, we can build upon our respective strengths to enhance Thomas Cook’s position in both travel insurance and other travel services such as airport parking and airport hotels.”

The acquisition is subject to FSA approval, which is expected to complete shortly.

gosimply crop circles spotted in UK

gosimply.com crop circle spotted in rural field…extraterrestial phenomenon or elaborate hoax?

The increasingly ubiquitous “gosimply face” now seems to have been picked up by alien visitors in their attempts to communicate with Earthlings through designs created in unsuspecting farmers’ fields.  While some people are quick to dismiss these giant works of art as nothing more than man-made hoaxes, many believe that UFOs and their otherworldly crews are behind the phenomena.

At present, none of these ET’s have phoned authorities (at home or otherwise) to explain the reasons behind this sudden outbreak of gosimply crop circles.  The Travel Product Authorities here at gosimply HQ, however, have every reason to believe that even life forms from other galaxies have discovered the benefits of using gosimply.com – whether parking their spaceship at the airport, snoozing in an airport hotel, or trying to blend in with us human folk by hiring a car.

In an amazing instance of coincidence, Google is spelling out their logo using the phenomenon of crop circles on the same day that gosimply crop circles have been spotted throughout the UK.We’ve always said that smart people gosimply, and now it appears that even beings of extraterrestrial intelligence do the same.

Now that the contest has closed, we are pleased to announce the hidden face belongs to James Caan of the popular BBC2 programme Dragon’s Den!

Just as Mr. Caan invests in people who demonstrate the potential for success, we at gosimply.com take pride in offering our customers the simplest means of  booking their travel extras to ensure their holiday’s success.

Company directors James Burrows and Tim Hagger, had the pleasure of meeting with James Caan recently – although according to some  gosimply.com  customers,  they could have equally been face to face with Alan Sugar, Duncan Bannatyne or even Simon Cowell! Perhaps they were more crouching tiger, than hidden dragon…

Congratulations to all of our winners, commiserations to the unsuccessful participants, and a big thank you to “Dragon” James Caan for the use of his picture.

Keep your eyes open for bigger and better competitions from us here at gosimply in the future, and have fun being one of the smart people who gosimply.
