No problem's checking in. Good room and good bed. Nice meal although we had quite a long wait to get it. Car parking was also good.

We had a good value room and parking for 8 days. However hotel does not rate 4 stars. Looks run down and needs a makeover.

Reception very helpful, room clean but a bit worn out. Bar food very tasty but a little over priced. Transfer service easy to use but could do with maybe 4 busses an hour instead of one.

Parking was no problem. Check in also no problem. The room, although very comfortable and spacious was 'dated', but for one night's accommodation it was perfectly good enough. The transfer to the airport was OK. However, coming back we did not need the countryside trip we were subjected to before we arrived back at Effingham! The itinery did not include going to the Worth Hotel, but those people residing there were dropped off first and consequently it took 40 minutes to get back to our car! Not acceptable after a long flight. I will get a taxi next time.

Easy to find, good parking, although they still moved my car, which I was not to impressed with. Reception staff very good and efficient. Transfer to Airport reasonably quick, transfer back from airport took ages, although to be fair, I was told that by hotel staff. Had an evening meal at the hotel, food looked good, but was only warm, as was the breakfast. This hotel like lots of other hotels, can't seem to keep food hot.

My husband and I have stayed here before and utilised the park & fly service. It is great knowing that your car is on site while you are away. On our return, the car wouldn't start. The hotel staff were really helpful and gave us a jump start and we were on our way in no time. Not sure we would have been so lucky parking at the airport and if we had phoned the RAC we probably would have been waiting for ages. The staff are always very pleasant and helpful. The clean, comfortable rooms are a good size and ideal for a short stay. It would have been nice to have a swim in the lovely pool but the it was out of action. The restaurant is fine and we have used it in the past but I think they need to do more to encourage people in. We ended up going to the pub down the road to eat which was absolutely packed. Maybe they should have a look at what they are doing as clearly the trade is out there. The transfer was an extra 8 each way for the two of us but we found it to be reliable and efficient. They provide a copy of the time table so that you don't have to stand around in the cold for longer than necessary. A great service all round for the price, that I would recommend.

I found the room to be very shabby and in need of complete refurbishment glad we were only staying in it for one night. The transfer bus was very late in turning up leaving us standing out in the cold for half an hour.
