"Hotel was comfortable and well located for the airport. Only slight grumble was that on checking in I had to ask for my parking voucher, I was expecting the hotel would have it ready for me. Having asked for the voucher it was quickly provided with no quibble. I was not aware of the £5 overnight parking charge at the hotel."

"Food and drink available only from vending machine near reception. TV only works if you buy a remote control from reception (£5.00 for 24 hours, most of which you won't get during an overnight stay). Reception staff friendly, but variable. The washbasin tap leaked out of its back during our stay - the receptionist on duty in the morning seemed to have trouble understanding this when I reported it. Modular construction has left some gaps in places so that light leaks in from other rooms/shower area."

"A bit more of a walk from terminal 4 than we expexted, but not too far. Very smooth operation, check in easy, nice room. Very comfortable bed, a good nights sleep. A bit of noise from the doors banging as other people left thier rooms. Nice breakfast, lovely sausages. Not keen on doing my own toast tho' Staff very pleasant and polite. Check out just as easy. All in all A1"

"The evening meal was not part of the package but we choose to eat here out of convenience. The steak was undersized and the pasta was watery and unpleasant.Woul not recommend eating here but would point you to the Pheasant pub round the corner"

"contnd: ervisor. I also phoned hotel & receptionist said would investigate. Bus finally arrived at 6.05. Driver said "nothing to do with me- just come on". A bad end to the journey & miserable since put me very late to start 250 mile drive home. Had similar problem when I stayed at this hotel some years ago & have avoided since. Will do so again now!"

"It was easy to find the hotel by sat.nav.and a simple straight-forward way to park the car and hand over the keys until our return two weeks later. We had a very good meal, a nice room a good nights sleep and left via the hotel shuttle bus (£7 return) the next morning for terminal 3. It was all so easy. I can't understand why we haven't done it before!.It will be a must for the future. On our return, we caught the bus to the hotel, picked up the car keys and were told where the car had been moved to the rear of the hotel. The service was excellent and it was very good value. We paid £80 for one night and 12 nights car parking!"

"This hotel is not covered by the Heathrow Hoppa bus service, and so as part of their room deal, the hotel pays for a taxi to Heathrow - great. Not so great, however, is that the taxi journey back from Heathrow to the hotel is NOT covered (this fact is buried in the small print), and the taxi service that they give you the telephone number for (Millenium cars) is in fact an executive car service and so twice as expensive as a regular black cab, so take care!"

"This was not my best hotel experience, because while showering I slipped in the bath, banging my upper, left arm (either side of the elbow) on the side of the bath, and the back of my head on the end of the bath. My feet just shot out from under me on the slippery surface of the bath. The bruising on my arm is still black, and my head still feels sore when I brush my hair. Thank goodness I was facing the taps and fell backwards, not the other way round. The Receptionist was informed, and suggested I write a letter, which I did, and addressed it to the Manager, before leaving to catch my flight back to Australia. I suggested that rubber bath mats should be in the bathrooms. Showers over baths are a recipe for accidents if the bath is not slip-proof. Had I been an older person and possibly broke bones, the Hotel could be facing legal action. Hotel Ibis will not be on my list of favourite Hotels next time I visit London, and I shall make my friends aware when choosing their accommodation. Yours faithfully, Mrs. Joan Keefe"

"Excellent hotel. We were away for 15 nights and using this hotel and in effect starting the holiday a day earlier was cheaper than using one of the car park services! The food was a little expensive in the hotel but nothing you wouldn't expect."

"I was most unfortunate we arrived back at the hotel after our flight to find on of our car windows broken. I am still awaiting the CCTV report from the Marriott in order to discover how this happened."

"This hotel/parking arrangement suited us down to the ground as, arriving at a very late hour, we would not have benefitted from luxury accommodation. The taxi transfer both ways was excellent. We can't fault Master Robert for a one night stand!!"

"We stayed here a second time because our first experience there was so good. And, just as we remembered, this hotel really makes things nice for you! They don't cut corners, and they're generous instead of always trying to make more money off of you. How refreshing!"

"For transport to the airport terminal we used the "Hotel Hopper" bus service It was efficient and on time although it took 20 minutes to get to the terminal because of stops at other hotels. If you arrive at the hotel, as we did, just after a Hopper bus you may find a longish wait at check-in. We had no problem finding car parking space, and left car there for a week while we were away. Car security was marginal with no check at exit."

"Apart from a check-in problem (given a double-bed room when we'd booked a family room with two beds), the experience was great. Room was comfortable and perfectly adequate/good value for an airport hotel. The food was surprisingly good. A bit slow on the service but then it was a busy night. The staff (apart from a glacially slow and ultimately incorrect receptionist who gave us keys to a non-family room when that's exactly what we'd booked)were great. In fact when I asked one of the restaurant staff if there was a concierge to sort out my 'wrong' room, he (Jay) immediately went to the check-in desk to sort it out for me with a supervisor. I will definitely use Premier-Inn from now on. Its good value, good service, comfortable, the food is affordable & sensible with a good menu with something for everyone."

"Car was moved off site. on our return car would not start, radio stations changed! WHY? The hotel jump started the car but there was no way the battery was flat when we arrived after travelling 200miles.This has left us wondering what they used the car for! Needless to say we won't be booking with Raddison Edwardian again."

"We stayed at this hotel the night before our holiday with a weeks parking. It was fantastic! The whole hotel was spotless. Comfy room and bed, no noise heard from the airport nearer by. Great shuttle service to the airport which is cheaper if tickets are bought in the reception area. We did not dine at the hotel because we had already booked a table at the pub nearby which had great food. I would definitely stay here again. Outside of hotel does look a bit run down but this does not affect inside at all."

"We found convenient car parking easily and our check in was dealt with in a friendly and efficient way. Our room was comfortable and more than adequate for our brief stay. We ate in the bar and the food was very nicely presented and not too expensive (only downside was sport on the large tv in there). The conceirge booked us a taxi to transfer to the airport in the morning so we didn't need to hang around for the shuttle bus."

"This was a really clean, comfortable and well run Hotel. Desk staff were professional, helpful and very friendly, which gave a great welcome felling. Room was large, comfortable and clean and out meal there, which was fine dining, was excellent. Over the years I have stayed in many of the four and five star Heathrow Hotels, but this was definitely the best. Look forward to returning there for my next trip."

"Although reception were polite you felt they couldn't be bothered to answer your questions, bar staff rude and then they add service charge to the drinks you have stood and waited for while they finished there conversation, waitress raised her eyes when i enquired for a gluten free meal. No instructions given of how to find our car as we booked 8 days parking, we were given a leaflet that also had no directions. Returned to reception after holiday to ask about car and was told parking is nothing to do with them and staff made a dismissive wave to a lift and said level one. Went to level one still no signs had to walk through a car park not sure if it was the right carpark with all our cases finally saw car parking reception. when we said they were really hard to find they said everybody says that. Ridiculous prices £6 for a small glass of wine plus service charge on top. Staff made you feel that they were doing you a favour being there with the exception of the bell boys who were terrific."

"We arrived quite late and found the staff very friendly and helpful. On our return after 2 weeks away we found our car had a flat battery. We called the aa and then the staff arranged a very late breakfast for 4 jet lagged travelers.we highly recommend this hotel and thank the staff for all their help."

"Although we stayed one night, the hotel was very good. The staff were helpful and friendly. Lovely restaurant overlooking terminal 5 runway. Excellent transfer in the Pod to T5. It only took 5 mins. Have already booked to stay again"

"Unfortunately, I stayed the night of the big snowfall in London, and the hotel was overrun with people. I was unable to get a meal because of too many people with too few staff to cope. The transfer bus service couldn't even make it to the hotel because of the conditions and so we (passengers) had to traipse through the icy conditions to get to the hotel and from the hotel to the bus the next morning. However, in a normal situation I would stay at a Travelodge again."
