A reasonable place to park in london for a modest fee. Easy access to the tube network. Clean and tidy car park, well lit but without any other facilities.

Using a route finder made finding Butler's Wharf car parking very easy to find. We were nearly 1 hour over our time and we were not charged any extra. The walk to the nearest tube station was lovely as you got to walk over Tower Bridge and pass The Tower of London. Will not hesitate to use Butler's Wharf car park again when next visiting London.

In a nutshell, I googled for London parking, found simplyparking.co.uk, quick search and found this car park. Noticed it had a lot of good reviews so figured I couldn't really go wrong. And I was right! The parking felt safe and the guy at the end was helpful in sorting any queries I had out. In regards to previous reviews, specifically the location issues, I had no trouble what so ever finding it coming from the North. I armed myself with a fairly recent AtoZ, aimed for crossing tower bridge, first left and then third left (ish I recalled these direction through my shoddy memory) but that's roughly about it! Easy. If you are looking for good situ London parking at a good price, grab a AtoZ and book with Simplyparking. So easy and convenient, job well done! :)

Both times I have used the park I have had to drive away from the Bridge and then turn back on myself. Which is OK but I am not sure if there is a better exit route.

I've used Butler's Wharf car park twice in the last year - both times for a London day trip for exhibitions and theatre. I'd certainly use it again as booking on-line is easy and the car park is clean, tidy, well lit and staff are friendly and helpful. It's outside the congestion charge zone and in my view is very good value - even more so as it provides parking for up to 24 hours (useful for an overnight stop). You need to take account of the fact that there's a +/- 10 minute walk to the nearest underground station.

Great place to park. Fair old walk to tube but if you dont mind getting the bus this is only 5 mins away. We booked for 24 hrs and were just over. The attendant let us off any extra fees. Also very friendly etc. 2nd time used and great both times. Will never take the train again if staying overnight! Not green I know but...

The nearest underground is Tower Hill, which means walking over the bridge, which can be a bit windy in the winter! However, on a mild day it is great to walk along the embankment to a bridge further up that will take you into the West End.

We have recommended this car park to all our friends. Best value car parking in central london by far. One tip if you are approaching tower bridge from the south is to turn right well before the bridge and find your way to car park through side steets as you can't make a right turn on last few streets before bridge and if you turn left anywhere to enable you to then turn round and go straight over you will have entered the conjestion zone.

Well, what do you want in a parking experience? Exactly where we wanted to be for a trip to the Tower of London, a good price and it felt safe. Helped make a day out a pleasure rather than the stressful experience it can often become.

It's so good to be able to book ahead - you can arrive in London knowing that you have secure parking; the price is amazing; and if you need the loo the car park attendants will give you the key to one. First class all round.

Be aware that when travelling to Butler's Wharf from the south of the Thames, you are unable to turn right off the A100 when approaching Tower Bridge. To access the car park you will need to cross the bridge & follow the one way system around & back over the bridge, so you can then take the 1st left which leads you towards it.

They performed exactly as promised without any hitch. To someone living outside London, it seemed expensive but, from my limited knowledge, good value for central London. I would have no hesitation in using this facility again.

Just outside Congestion Charge zone. No problems whatsoever, modern & well lit, friendly staff when leaving. A bit confusing when approaching from the south (A2) , we just went over Tower Bridge and made a U-turn, approach from the north no problem, 1st left over Tower Bridge then. Good value for money.

We parked here because it was close to Tower Bridge and well placed for the Tour de France Stage 1 start. Unfortunately, the police shut off all the roads and we had to wait 90 minutes before we could leave the vicinity of the car park! We will know next time - Not the car park's fault though! Other than that - Excellent.

Read the reviews by others to help you find this car park. I had no problems coming from Tower Bridge direction. Try and book a taxi to be waiting for you if you are parking for Waterloo, etc. 15min drive to most stations.

We struggled to find the car park as the Sat Nav was confused after the 'under road' approach. If we had known it was the other side of the bridge from the tower, we would have found it straight away!

It wasn't hard to find the parking garage since we use the sat-nav., and took the advise from one of the review on the site to put in Horselydown Ln. instead of Gainsford street then turn into Gainsford street from there. We arrived at the garage around 4:00am on a Friday morning to catch an early Eurostar train to Paris. We had no problem finding a taxi on Tower Bridge to Waterloo station. It was about £14.00 including tips. On the way back from Waterloo, we just took the tube to London Bridge station and walk from the tube station to the garage which was not as far as I thought it would be. Overall it was a very good experience and I would definitely using this garage again and recommend everyone to use it!!

Great and efficient parking, but not too easy to access with one way streets etc. Definitely worth the effort though! Also directions state the car park is signed as 'Universal Car Park', but it actually says Butlers Wharf Car Park, which was a bit confusing. Would recommend it and it's a lovely walk along the river into town.

Great place to park long term when in London. The only problem is that you do have to walk some distance to London Bridge to get a train or all the way across Tower Bridge to get the tube, not good with bags. But drop everything off first and leave the car, it's great value.
