really enjoyed our stay. Had a lovely dinner - thanks for the bottle of wine. Room was comfortable and lots of hot water. Staff very friendly and helpful.

we found the Brittania an ideal location for the airport. We enjoyed a drink at the bar the night before which was reasonably priced and served by friendly bar staff. We will definitely book this hotel again next year or sooner if we are traveling abroad

Easy to find. Staff helpful. Excellent breakfast for £5. Just walking distance from airport with baggage trolley provided.

I think that this hotel tries to be to many things at once without the facilities to achieve them all.

Lovely comfortable beds and clean crisp sheets. Pleasant staff, but forgot to give a "wake up" call. Rowdy party spilled into the corridor at 3am, but only for about ten minutes. Ideally located, a few minutes walk to the airport. Rooms were basic but clean. Tea and coffee making facilities were appreciated. Our car was parked at the hotel for a week. I would definitely use this hotel again.

For the purpose of an overnight stay to catch an early flight the britannia is good value taking into account how much you would pay to park however for more than one night I would have to think very hard. The hotel is let down purely by the rooms which are seriously in need of redecoration. The breakfast we had was £5pp and extremly good value. The reception was very friendly,helpful and accomodating. The bar area although a little austere was reasonably priced and Ok to sit and read the paper.

We have stayed in the Britannia at Newcastle Airport a number of times but this time found it quite noisy from neighbouring rooms when we were trying to go to sleep.

We stayed overnight on the 29 October. The bedroom was dated but clean, and the bed was very comfortable and plenty of hot water for a nice relaxing bath.
