"This was a great start to my short break, the only downside is the cost of food and drink in the hotel it is very expensive, but it is very easy to get a taxi to a nice nearby country pub, which is alot more reasonable."

"The hotel room was very clean and comfortable, I would definately stay again... However it was badly let down by its food and barstaff.. They were not very pleasant and sort of grunted taking our order.. For the food itself it was very poor and basic. Overdone chips that must have been cooked hours before they were served to us and the bacon on my burger was burnt to crisp.. My husbands steak was okay, but he was still hungry after the kiddies porion.."

"Very few things in life pleasantly surprise anymore. Staying at the Radisson Blu was just that. A pleasant surprise. I chose the park and fly option - its only a little bit more expensive than Valet parking and the hotel, the ambience ranging from the superb 'fabric' of the hotel to the acrobatic display over the bar to the excellent New York Grill restaurant and helpful, pleasant staff were a huge surprise. Especially in an age where we have come to expect little. I was utterly gobsmacked. The parking was excellent and my car was waiting for me on my return. The Hotel only being a minutes walk to the terminal under the shelter all the way couldnt be better. This weekend I am going to Spain, leaving early and staying there again. I wish I had done it years ago. I will certainly be a regular and urge everyone who reads this to stay there. Compared with Holiday Inns etc there is literally NO comparison - absolutely none. This place is in a league of its own and tremendous value. If you hadnt already guessed I really liked my stay."

"I found the whole experience from internet to booking to checking out extremely efficient and simple to use. The only minor difficulty I had was locating the post code for my sat nav system. The directions to the hotel were easy to follow."

"room ok, food in pub a little expensive. Brochure in room explained transfer cost but price in brochure not up to date. Transfer very good. Collection not the best taxi delayed we waited 30 mins. Meeting point is out in the open so just as well weather ok"

"there was a mix up over transfers to the airport - the taxi used to the airport(checkers) was adamant that we had to pay him and was extremely rude (said he would phone the police) - although the hotel had booked him for us! you need to make sure it is very clear that transfers are inluded to avoid mix ups like this the hotel staff were ok just not that bothered about it all. They were all new. I definitely would not use this hotel again although it was really good value - you just dont need to worry about silly things like transfers - if i had been alone (without my husband)then the taxi driver would have intimidated me. Return journey from the airport was absolutely fine however."
