The room was very clean and had all the facilities one needs. The bathroom was also very clean, the towels were soft and there were some toilet products (shampoo, bath gel). We didn't use the swiming pool but we'd saw it and it looked wonderfull. The staff at the reception was meduim. They were not veru kind and they seem to be in a hurry when speaking to us wich made dificult to a clear understanding of what they were saying. I recomend this hotel.

Really pleased that the undercover hotel turned out to be the Hilton. Liked the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi. Pity the pool was not available. Lovely warm, clean room with tea and coffee facilities. Bus to and from terminal was on time and clean. Reception was nice - helpful staff. Same in the Living Well area. Prices in dining area looked rather high so we didn't eat there.

I only spent a few hours at the hotel as I got in late and left very early. The check in staff were very friendly and efficient. The public areas looked good. the rooms could do with a bit of modernisation but were clean and comfortable with very good toiletries. Breakfast was available from 5. I didn't get the chance to try it as I had to leave at that time. The only gripe I have is to do with the transfers. they don't run 24 hrs and you have to pay. This is the first time I've experienced that. Most airport hotels are only too pleased to run courtesy services. Apart from that, I would definitely stay there again

Having booked as an 'Undercover Hotel' i was impressed to see the Hilton as the chosen hotel. The hotel is located near the airport (however off the flightline) and the transfer service although it cost £2 each way is efficient and runs all day and most of the night. The rooms where typical of an airport hotel, you wouldn't want to spend your summer holiday there but for a night before and after it is ideal, the same can be said for the bar and leisure facilities. Top Tip, If you want a drink Becks £3.50 / pt. Coca Cola £3.10 / Glass think about that! (Maybe best to use the coke vending machine!!)

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was a bit dated, due for a overhaul. But good value for money. Parking was ideal. We had a problem finding buses on arrival back from holiday but that was probably our fault. Bus fare should be included in price of hotel.

We were 'en route' - two nights in a 3 Star Hotel The Regency, in the center of London then a family visit in the UK- then one night in the Stanstead Hilton! On return to the South West France we spent a night in Biarritz in an Accor Hotel - much more expensive but also very comfortable. From there we went to Paris and spent three nights in a 2 star Hotel in the Rue Cler - also very comfortable. On reflexion the Hilton Stanstead wone hands down on comfort, service and value for money!

We booked the Hilton as we had a very early flight fronm Stanted airpot. My husband and myself were very excited about staying the night in the Hilton. We left our home early afternoon with the idea of using the few facilities of this hotel. On arrival we had to queu for about 10minutes to reach the reception desk. By the time we park the car and reach the bedroom and refresh ourselfs we them relaize the sauna, pool and steam room close on Saturdays at 8pm!!- In the bedroom one of the spot lights by the mirror in the bathrom was not working. Going down tothe lift we meet a staff member and mtioned aboth the light. When returned to the room was not fixed!! of the Looking around in the restaurant(again not the standar of 4 star hotel)and after feeling so disapointed about the way our plans of chilling in the pool etc.were not possible. We had to find something else to do and find somewhere more appealing so we drove to Cambridge. On our return to the room we swiched TV on and a we had to swich it off as the areial for the TV was not allowing to conect hardly to any chanels and the pictures and sound were breaking!!. First time we use an airport hotel and we thought for the amount on money we paid was not worthy!!! If we do it again I will choose a 3 star hotel that hopefully the may make more effort to live to their expectations.- As a whole.... not very impress about this Hilton hotel. Mrs. C Smith

I stayed at the Stansted Hilton on 8 august 2009, travelling down from the midlands, as I had an early morning flight the following day (thanks ryanair for changing the previously convenient schedule! As I was travelling alone, I booked a single room and wasn't really expecting too much for the price I paid. However I was very pleasantly suprised as the room was spacious, clean and well equiped. It was on the ground floor towards the back of the hotel, with wonderful views of the prolific stansted bunny rabbits! There was hardly any aircraft noise at all. check in/out was efficient and staff were friendly and helpful, offering to take my case to the room. transfers on the coach were also efficient, £2 each way rankled a bit as I am used to using the car park bus, which is 'free' I would definately use the Stansted Hilton again and have recommended it to family ad friends. It made for a very relaxing start to my holiday - much better than a stressful middle of the night drive would have been.
