No.1 Gatwick Lounge

We had a very early flight that meant waiting around for two hours as the public facilities gradually opened. The lounge gave us a comfortable and quiet wait with friendly staff, excellent refreshments and clean facilities. Would use again.

Staff were unfriendly and the lounge is overused. Cooked food is one per person, portions small and inadequate. I will not book again. Poor value for money

we paid 25.00 x 8. were allowed 1 very small bacon sandwich with 1 rasher on it. when asked for more we were refused. wouldn't use again - 200.00 and could have gone for full English for a lot less. not good at all.

This Is A Very Enjoyable Experience,A Comftable Area To Chill Out Before You Take Your Flight

We spent a few hours here before our flight to Las Vegas. Nice nibbles and bacon rolls. Free drinks and coffee. A little small but numbers of guests are limited, so it's well to book your slot and be assured of a place.

It was the first time we had used the No.1 lounge at Gatwick South terminal. It is quieter than the main airport but not really peaceful. It was quite untidy (uncleared tables) when we first arrived but was also very busy so maybe that was why. The food on offer was OK but nothing special. It's worth paying for if you have a long time to wait.

This was a nice place to spend a few hours between a transatlantic flight and a European connector. The bar server gave me wine in a dirty glass; when I returned he made me wait until he had served 3 other customers before replacing it. The food service was tasty enough although the table server seemed to be having a bad day when she delivered it. Maybe we were just unlucky, or maybe have just spent too much time in the USA. Anyway, both easy things to work on and improve I would imagine.

Was not explained on arrival where things were or what was included. Short staffed? Slow to clear tables. Only 1 toilet working; not enough for The 40 people there. Toilet was dirty.

The lounge is not the easiest to find for a first timer but top rating for the staff,comfortable,relaxing and a very welcome free glass of Rioja after arriving from Spain with a long haul flight ahead of me. Thank you AP

The 3 single shared toilets were atrocious. One was down for maintenance, the second had flooded and the line up for the third was 5 people deep. There was no-where to sit it was so crowded. The food we ordered never came (in there for 1.5 hours) even though we followed up with the waitress. The coffee machine ran out of coffee. Perhaps it was just an exceptionally bad day... This all said, when I complained through their website the management team immediately took my complaint seriously and remediated my concern in a more than reasonable fashion.
