I've booked with Silver Zone a couple of times now and always found them efficient both within their parking area and also with their airport transfers. I will use them whenever I fly out of Bristol. Highly recommended.
very good checking in staff very friendly and helpful transfers reasonable
Nice to have a friendly coach driver on the return journey to the car park.
Booking was easy online and I got me confirmation very quickly and once we got to the airport very easy to find, didnt have to wait very long for the bus. Then on return journey we had to wait a little longer but we were back in the car in 10 minutes or so. Would definitely use the service again.
Well located, secure, good value, regular transfer buses, pleasant staff - would use again.
Very helpful staff, not too long to wait for pick-up after holiday. Pleasant experience all round.
we waited over 20 mins for a bus to go back to the carpark on our return which was abit frustrating
Kept waiting in freezing cold well over the expected 15 Min interval on return from abroad
We eventualy found a space and then had a long walk from the car to reception with two heavy suit cases. It would have been better to go to reception first.
I would advise that some improvement be made in marking the Area Numbers and Bay numbers . Arriving in the dark and seeking out an empty space is quite a challenge-finding it on return after a tiring Flight is even WORSE!!!!!!!
very easy to use and a car park and transfer that is simple and easy to find very pleased
I'm very happy with their service, i was there for a first time so i can only say that its easy to find, you just can't miss it, quick to find parking space, very nice and helpful receptionist....i'm sure i will use their service once again....they have very competitive prices.
Silver Zone parking is easy to use. Look out for the entry barrier. It can be completely invisible against a low winter sun. Instructions for arrival and departure are clear. The buses to and from the airport run frequently and the drivers are courteous and helpful.
it had been snowing heavily up until the day before we got there and the airport had been closed until then so there was a lot of snow. Saying that though it was still open we found a place to park fairly quick and the reception was warm and provided toilets and vending machines along with very friendly staff. The transfers even with all the snow ran like clockwork we just missed one as we parked but another arrived in roughly 15 minutes as stated. Overall great service but it is at a price as it did cost £29 for just 4 days but for peace of mind it was worth it.
I left the car in one space and when I arrived to collect the car it had been moved to another. On reversing the vehicle I found the car made a rough noise. Further down the road away from the car park my tire blew out due to the snapped suspension spring. The spring obviously broke in the cold when the car was moved. Nobody had the decency to tell me and subsequently put my life at risk on the open road. Not impressed at all.
convinent, close to the airport. got inside the terminal in no time. and its easy ot get aswell
Our normal method of parking is to leave the car keys in the office on arrival and the vehicle is parked for us and is brought back near the office for our return. We know that the weather (snow)is not anyone's fault but we had a job to get the car out of the parking bay as the snow had piled up under the wheels.
Had to search for directions to Reception, way out and advice to note the car park number - could be made more prominent. Bus to car was 20mins in the freezing cold - Tuesday 5th Jan!
Had to park car too far away from reception considering inclement weather, and in a poor looking area.Good helpful staff on arrival but a bit lackluster on departure.Overall though very hand and will use again.
We arrived at Silver Zone parking and were met by friendly and helpful staff who explained that due to ice in the parking area we had been upgraded to the long stay car park. They explained what we should do when we got there and when we arrived back from our trip so that we would not need to pay any further charges. It all went like clockwork and we had no problems on our arrival and on leaving the long stay park where the staff were very helpful and cheerful despite it being freezing cold and late at night. Excellent service and value for money.
An insight into the workings of Silver Zone Parking, straight from the horse's mouth.
1. Can you tell us a little bit about your business?
The new Bristol International Airport terminal building opened in 2000 and has consistently expanded the route network and passenger volumes to become the leading airport for the South West and Wales serving nearly 6 million customers per year. The Long Stay car park, with 3,500 spaces has served our customers for decades. As our passenger volumes grew, we needed to provide additional parking facilities. In 2001 the Silver Zone car park was created, providing additional affordable, on-site, secure car parking just a short distance from the terminal building.
2. In one sentence, how would you describe your business?
Bristol International Airport is an exciting, energetic and continuously developing gateway to the world!
3. What makes you different from other parking companies?
Whilst we are an airport and our core business is to provide the facilities and routes so our customers can travel and bring in inbound tourists, we have a strong customer service ethic. Our business is about delivering first class service and processes to ensure our passengers' journey through our car parks, terminal and on to the aircraft is as simple and as enjoyable as possible. The Silver Zone car park demonstrates this ethic by having trained staff greet every customer and by using efficient processes to keep any waiting time to a minimum
4. Describe the customer facilities, security and services you offer
All car parks have been awarded the Park Mark award for safer parking. All car parks offer disabled facilities, are manned, well lit, fenced and operational 24/7. The Silver Zone car park offers a variety of food and drink vending facilities within the customer reception area. Toilet facilities are also provided as well as free bus transfers to the terminal. Silver Zone also offers vehicle imaging technology so that all cars entering the site are photographed from numerous angles for added security.
5. What does the gosimply award mean to you?
This award means a lot to our staff who work extremely hard to provide the best facility and service possible. Its also an excellent measure that our customers can use to have peace of mind and confidence when booking this car park. Thank you to our customers and to Gosimply for the superb feedback! It is a reflection of the standards we have in place and we will be striving to win it again!
6. What's the most interesting or exotic car that's been parked?
With over 1 million cars passing through our car parks in a year and with parking products to suit all needs from the Meet and Greet service to the efficiencies of Silver Zone, we have seen a huge variety of cars from Ferraris, Bentley's and Lamborghinis to Skoda's, Smart cars and vans.
7. Have you had any celebrities use your services?
Many! Being one of the key arrivals points for artists playing at the Glastonbury Festival, many headline names passed through the airport this year.
