Parksafe Glasgow

Nothing to complain about at all, parksafe does what it says on the tin, does it very well and gives great value for money.

On arrival at the car park, there was no allocation of parking space as the website stated, only a "Find yourself a space and make your way back to the waiting room with your cases" from a man in a booth who didn't get off his backside. In the waiting room, my wife and I were two of only six people requiring transferred from the car park to the airport. After a half hour wait, a bus eventually arrived which subsequently took 20 minutes to get us to the airport drop off point, not five as stated on the website. On our return from holiday, I phoned the Parksafe number as instructed and found it was an answer machine. I left a message that our party of two required collection and we made our way to the appropriate bus stop in the wind and rain. There were over a hundred people waiting at that bus stop for transport by Parksafe and Direct Parking. The first three small buses and mini-buses that did arrive all belonged to Direct Parking and people just dived out of the queue from in front and behind us to scramble to the coaches. The only bus to arrive from Parksafe held about twenty passengers leaving dozens to stand in the wind and rain. Passenger's complaints fell on deaf ears as staff said, "Dinnae blame me missus, I've only just come on duty half an hour ago". As the queue got longer, it was Parksafe customers at the front of it and Direct Parking customers at the back. The next bus to arrive was a Direct Parking bus which took and seated all the passengers that had pushed through from the back of the queue before grumpy staff told us that they also take Parksafe customers. Angry moans and complaints from the Parksafe customers were met with insulting remarks from miserable staff like, "Some people are never happy", and "We're doing you a favour". It took forty minutes to get out of that bus queue and a further twenty to get back to the car park where we were dropped off at the gates and made to drag our suitcases through the car park to our cars. There was even an empty Parksafe bus sitting in the car park which was not being used. Not once, either on our departure or arrival did a bus offer to collect us from, or drop us off at, one of the car park bus stops. This is the kind of service you get when the fees are paid up front and there is no recourse. I have never complained about an airport car park before despite using them on many occasions but I will never use this Parksafe car park again.

After shopping around this was the cheapest secure car park very close to Glasgow airport (only a few minutes away) but by no means was the quality not up to standard in comparison to other airparks. Good transfers to and from airport with no delays. I will be using again - Highly recommended!

On arrival the check in person was curtious and freindly, he gave clear instruction which was easy to follow, coach diver was helpful both ways overall a stress free experience.

Everything went smothly from start to finish, Bus's going to airport and back were there on time. Very pleased with the whole experience

On way back had to wait over half an hour to get on a bus because of the number of people waiting to get back to the carpark

We have been a customer of parksafe for years and years, this is the first time we have used the new premises. It is easy to get too and customer service is as always first class. Well Done Guys and Gals keep up the good work.
