The only comment I have to make is that they did not give us their telephone number to call on our return, for them to pick us up at the airport, I got it from directory enquiries. Everything else was first class, the food in the restaurant was excellent and very good value for money. I would definitely use them again.

Have never used a hotel/parking before. We found this excellent, we managed to book our luggage in to the airport the night before, taking away all the stress. The transfers were excellent. This is how we will start our holidays from now on. All the staff were very helpful. Many Thanks.

Hotel was basic but then it is a 2 star and very cheap. Read other reviews before booking and was put off by some. i had no problems whatsoever as my taxi transport was within the times specified and very prompt. I was given the number to phone once i cleared customs and he arrived within 10 mins. I liked that once i had secured my car in the pound next to the hotel, i kept the key to my vehicle. would definitely use again. people must realise when they book to read what you're getting & times available for taxi.

Our room faced the main road; we had requested a quiet room. All we could hear was the traffic on the main road, it was quieter when we stopped at a hotel closer to the airport. The staff seemed uninterested to help you personally. No one to carry bags up 2 flights of stairs.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We had a lovely night's stay with dinner and breakfast next morning and then taken to airport and fetched back from airport to collect our car; great service thank you indeed.

Very basic room, with rather unpleasant bathroom. Showers dribbled out and were cold! Transfer in the morning was late. Very unhelpful staff. On our return, our flight was delayed and we didn't get into Gatwick until midnight. When I called to be picked up, was told we were too late and had to get a taxi, costing an extra £10! Would not go back.

Would have rated the transfers higher as going to the airport was very efficient, unfortunately the 45 min wait at the airport in the cold, after our return flight wasn't so good!

We were given the number to ring for the return transfer from Airport to hotel but no answer. We found out that the wrong number was given. We therefore had to get a taxi to the hotel at 6.30am after a 10 hour flight at a cost of £8.00. When we arrived at the hotel to pick up our car no one was around and we had to wait 1/2 hour. This is a very cheap budget hotel and will not use again.

Overall, a very good service for the price. The rooms and hotel were clean but very dated (from the 70s). However, it was surprisingly quiet considering it's on a busy road and we had a restful night's sleep before our early start for our holiday.

Found room to be too noisy, as it was next to some sort of boiler room and the boiler clicked on and off all night, so we had no sleep. Also, old style sash windows which rattled in wind.

Well first view of hotel was nice, however once we entered the hotel everything went wrong, first the guy behind reception was exceptionally rude and un-helpful we had three suitcases with us and there was no offer of help to take to our rooms (which bear in mind were down 2 flights of stairs!) Then we asked what time we needed to be down to reception for the 'free' shuttle bus that was to transfer us to Gatwick. He asked what time our flight was so i told him and he said we cant take you at that time, you'll have to get a taxi i'll book one for you. i was shocked as it clearly states a 'free' shuttle bus to and from gatwick! bit peeved off we headed to our room than decided to go for some food in hotel restaurant which i cannot fault except for being a bit pricey. Anyway we go on holiday when we arrive back into gatwick after having a 1 1/2 hour delay and a lost suitcase we call cambridge gatwick hotel to collect us and take us back and the women told us we can't pick you up its too late, i said please we can't help a delayed flight she than said ' its not my problem' i was so speechless i than said surely theres something you can do and she very rudly replied ' its not my problem' and hung up on me!!!!! I would never ever recommend anyone to stay here, I seroiusly dont even think a tramp who has'nt washed or eaten for a year could stomach the sheer rudeness and nastiness of the staff. NEVER STAY HERE PAY THAT BIT EXTRA BECAUSE YOU WILL HAVE TO ANYWAY IN TAXI'S.

We asked for a smoking room but did not get one. There was a bottle of milk in the fridge that has already been opened and used. On a positive note, when we got back to our car it had a flat battery and a member of the staff kindly jump started for us.

On the whole our stay was comfortable although we and others were a little let down as we would have liked to relax with a drink in the bar after arriving at the hotel only to find out the bar is not open during the day and no room service is offered, also the ambience of the hotel was not much to our liking, therefore we visited a different hotel for a meal. Transfers are punctual and free. Parking is free and safe, only we had a problem starting our vehicle after standing in the cold for fifteen days and the hotel driver could not help as the jumper cables were removed from his car, therefore one should have a vehicle breakdown contract if parking for the duration of your holiday.
