al in all a very satisfactory hotel for an overnight stay near to the airport. The receptonist wlecomed us on arival and was very helpful and polite. On our return we recieved the same polite and helpful service. Would vertainly recomend this hotel and would use it again.

Once we found the hotel we had no problem. We left the car outside the hotel once we had been out for a meal and that was the last we had anything to do with it until we returned. Excellent value for money. We would recommend the Cambridge to everyone and will definitely use them again.

The experience was on the whole a positive one, with excellent value for money. The one disappointment was that our car ended up behind 3 rows of parked cars when we came to collect it and it took half an hour to release it. Hotel staff were extremely apologetic though.

The hotel should have requested the car keys as the car park was in complete disaray - on our return they had moved the car and wanted to charge for the pleaure. This was not acceptable from my point of view. Otherwise the hotel and facilities and service on the transfers was really good.

Due to our flight times we did not eat in the hotel, and it is undergoing some refurbishment but did nor cause us any problems,everything was very good and we will use them again.

It might have been because we booked last minute, but we were in an attic conversion and the room, although pleasantly furnished an exceptionally clean, was extremely hot and stuffy without any means of ventilation. This meant none of us were able to sleep very well. Apart from that we were very satisfied.

Offered room with only overhead window in rather delapidated part of hotel. Transfered to better room on complaining. We noted that hotel is under new management and undergoing external renovation - will this continue internally?

It so much easier to use a hotel & parking the evening before. On our last holiday to Vegas, there was a massive hold up on the M25 on the day of the flight and so many of the passengers almost missed the flight we were on. Staying overnight meant no problems with the traffic on the day of travel for us, also more relaxing.

We have stayed at this hotel many times, it is now under new management who have done a lot of improvements and updating which was sorely needed. Everyone is helpful and cheerful, and nothing is too much trouble. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stay overnight before travelling, it certainly starts your holiday well.

I do feel that there should be a subsidy if you have to fly out earlier than they are prepared to start there taxi service, as they use a company that they know we were told it would be about £5 and it was £8 that is the only complaint i have

currently being renovated so some disruption limited dining area. staff friendly and helpful transportation to and from the airport is very good car park compound poor surface mainly of uneven rubble compound is however secure with good lighting

We found that the staff were all very helpful and helped with getting our bags to and from our room. Breakfast in the morning was cooked better than most 3/4 * hotels and was lovely and fresh. On our return from our holiday we only had to wait for 10 minutes until they collected us from the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel as very good value for money.

Staff really friendly and helpful, it was well situated. The hotel was quiet at the time when we stayed. The food served in the resturant was really high quality but very expensive. It cost us £83.00 for a meal and a drink for two adults and two children, so it's probably worth venturing about a five minute drive down the road where there is a two for one pub with a wacky warehouse for the kids. (didn't see it til we were on our way to the airport). Otherwise well worth the money.

My husband and myself were very happy with the cambridge hotel, We found our room very clean and comfortable,Staff were friendly and helpful, and travelling up the day before our holiday and staying overnight took the stress off us traffic wise. This was the first time we had stayed somewhere before flying out and would definetly do it again.The airport service was brilliant.Thank you very much . mrs V.Thwaite

Very good value for money and good service from staff. Food excellent in the restaurant. Room comfortable. Transfers really efficient and didn't have to wait long at all. I would definitely book again at this price.

When I read the review about this hotel I nearly cancelled my stay the night before I flew out to the USA. However on reading the subsequent review on how the hotel had changed hands I decided to give it a go. I have to say that the hotel is much much improved on the first reviewer's experiences. The check-in was quick and painless, I booked the ride to the airport for the following morning without any problems. The room was clean and tidy, bathroom spotless and towels clean and fluffy. The bedding was white and clean. There was a TV in the room and tea and coffee making facilities. We had dinner in the restaurant and the waiter was polite, efficient and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and I can highly recommend it for anyone staying there. Breakfast was the same, with a fab cooked English which was brought out quickly. The ride to the airport arrived on time and checkout was again quick and efficient. The pickup when we arrived back in the country was the quickest I have ever experienced. The new owners of this hotel have obviously made a lot of changes to improve the place and you really must give it a chance - for the price they ask to stay a night and leave your car, it really is second to none.

The fact that I parked my car in the secured Hotel car park, and took my keys with me on Holiday was a comfort.

We found the hotel to be entirely adequate. We chose not to eat in the Hotel's only dining facility and walked down the road to an alternative - but there are few alternative options in the near vicinity. The transfer system was great, punctual with a helpful and friendly driver. On the return, we called whilst in baggage reclaim and they were waiting for us by the time we left the airport. It was much more efficient than any previous experience we have had.

Room was in dire need of refurbishment. Hairdryer in bathroom was hanging by its wires - unable to use it. Staff in restaurant were nice and very helpful and food was very good. Transport to airport was fine because we had early flight, but on return the tel no was constantly engaged and we had to get a taxi back after trying for half an hour, costing £9.00, it is not exactly a few minutes from the airport more like 10 mins and that's driving. I explained to the man on reception and his response was "well we are on the telephone all the time it is busy we are a "hotel". He did not give a damn that I had paid for a cab. As I left the hotel the transport turned up and it was full to the brim, we probably would not have been able to get on it anyway,so would have had to wait goodness knows how long before it was able to collect us even if I had got through to the hotel. Very disappointed with the room and would not use this hotel again.
