Would definately use the Cambridge again and would recommend to others.Everthing was perfect from checkin , parking and arranging transportation. it made a great start and end to the holiday.

Three lady adults one a pensioner were placed in the attic. With no lifts it was a job to lift the luggage up all the stairs. Walking up the stairs we noticed many empty rooms. Why could we not be offered a vacant room lower down. They were still vacant when we left at 5.45am. Although the room was excellent it was too hot to sleep

The stay overnight was excellent and a very good start to our holiday. We could not fault the hotel in anyway and would recommend the Gatwick Cambridge Hotel to anyone.

Lovely hotel easy to find. Superb customer service,exceptionally clean rooms. Very nicely decorated breakfast room /dining /pub area. Only gripe is that a la carte menu was expensive ,could do with a pub or lighter option menu.We drove back down the road to the Harvester to eat.Bar prices at hotel were fine. Would definately go back ,recommended.

Hotel was great - room clean , lovely bathroom , good quality towels , easy check in , friendly staff.airport transfer very efficient- even at 3am when we left , would consider using this hotel/parking deal again.

Biggest plus for concerned car owners is that you can park your car in the allocated area and keep the keys, so no chance of it being moved or used while you are away. And no pressure from the staff to let them park or have the keys left. Room was nothing special, but was perfectly adequate for one night. Food was very good, and reasonably priced. Even managed to get some breakfast before early flight. Transfers are great, just a slightly tired Transit minibus, but do recommend booking your transfer as soon as possible - our bus was full - although they are so near the airport I'm sure they would just do a second run if need be. Overall, good. Would use again, which is the main thing I think.

In all good value for money and easy to find. Within minutes from the airport and additional days above their 2 week deal were reasonable. Perfect for a single night, somewhere to rest your head before flying the next day. Wouldn't stop more than one night as you are a captive audience in that not many local eating places without a drive/taxi and the restaurant/bar was expensive.

Having stayed at one other larger and theoretically more prestigious hotel near Gatwick, my wife and I thought that the Gatwick Cambridge Hotel was much superior in every respect. We eat in both restaurants where the food was excellent and indeed we welcomed the opportunityof dining on site both before and after our holiday.

The hotel was nice, good value for money, no problems with parking or car security. A little hiccup on the way back when the phone from the airport would not work so we had to find number and phone and then with longish wait when tired on way home. Overall a nice expeirence though and the meal in the restaurant was lovely although the salad did say it had olives and none were apparent!

The concern and helpfulness of the staff could not be faulted. The hotel is bright and clean although it looks somewhat outdated from the outside. The room was good, the bed comfortable but the washing facilities were rather cramped. The "continental" breakfast consisted of cereals and a couple of slices of "Mother's Pride" toast. Some attention should be paid to this. The transfers to and from the airport were fast and efficient with help from the driver to load and unload. This was appreciated

Very convenient to stay over and have onsite parking so felt assured my car was in safe hands. Only downside was the room was incredibly hot and with only cieling windows that could be opened, little could be done and made for a bit of a restless night. Overall, made life easier ahead of our morning plane trip and would use the Cambridge again

This hotel was excellent for our purpose would definitely use again, also recommend it to others. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean,bright and spacious,could'nt fault the food or menu. Thank you our one night stay started the holiday early.

Family room had main bed and twin beds separated by a wall with a linked archway- which gave everyone a little more privacy. Furnishings, dining room, reception very nice. Brillant for an overnight stay before airtravel.

I had difficulty in contacting the cambridge hotel for the transport back gatwick to the hotel. one of the telephones by the pick up point was out of order, the other gave hotel number which was not recognised. I had to return to the main airport with my luggage as on my own to use the telephone at the airport. Having returned from america I had no small change so had to join a long queue to buy a drink to be able to get change for the phone. As you can imagine after a long flight it was not the best of situations in fact it was awful experience. It was one hour later that I was eventually able to get the transport back to the cambridge hotel. The hotel should give clients the correct telephone number to call for the return journey.

We had a huge family room at the top of the hotel with a lovely bathroom. Everything was clean. We chose to eat in the restaurant and regretted it. There was nothing wrong with the food although the prices charged were rather too much. There was no real choice for children either. My daughter ordered spag bol and a child sized portion was £10. All in all, for two adults and two children to have two courses each the bill came to £100 excluding drinks. Please note that a bread roll and butter will cost £1 per person although this was not mentioned when the bread basket was offered! The accommmodation and parking were absolutely fine so please do not be put off. We would use these facilities again but opt not to eat in the restaurant.

We were very impressed and pleased with everything about the hotel although there was a delay in being collected from the airport on our return. However, we would not hesitate to use this hotel again and we will recommend it to our family and friends.

Very friendly staff. Excellent for short stay before or after flight. Food Good. Very comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. Would definately stay again.
