What a fantastic experience. The facilities were excellent, the room clean and a good size, the parking service ran smoothly both going out and coming in, the building is beautiful and finally and best of all, the staff service was fantastic - helpful, pleasent and efficient. If you are looking for glitz and glam then this is not the one, but for the price you could not ask for better. I would recommend it to anyone - in fact I have, often, and all have been happy.

hotel was lovely for the price ,bus should be a little cheaper and offer family ticket dicount,car should be brought backup to reception for arrival,should not be charged for 15 th day of parking advertised as 15 day parking not true

A really good option instead of the 2am taxi to Gatwick to catch the 6am flight! Got a decent night's sleep in a small but reasonably well appointed twin room, and stumbled out of bed onto the coach (they go once an hour during the night) which took us from the front door direct to Departures in 15mins. How civilised! Staff friendly and efficient. A good start to our holiday.

Whilst the service was good and we only stayed one night, the standard of the room was very poor. The WC was cracked and the double bed was squeezed in a tight corner. The person sleeping against the wall had to climb over the other person in order to get into and out of bed. The only good thing about the room is that it was clean.

The hotel is really nice and set in luxury surrounding, our room overlooked a field with horses in, we had an early morning flight and the view first thing was lovely. We ate in the italian, very nice, good service and great with the children. Would definately stay there again before a flight without a doubt! Lisa Tuffin Gillingham, Kent

I thought the hotel was average overall and the fact that there wasnt a lift to transport the luggage to the rooms was abit strange. I can say the good point is that the suttle bus was on time and very useful

was very dissapointed with hotel, no offer of help with luggage, room was tiny with a small double bed, carpet was balding, room was dirty, TV was a 14" potable with 4 channels! small shelf to make tea/coffee not sufficient. An international hotel should be of a higher standard, I was embarrased to stay at my own countries hotel. It cost £111.69 for i night and 14 days parking, no breakfast and we had to pay an extra £5 for the early hours return to car on day 15. The transfer only ran every hour, so when arriving in the uk, we had just missed the coach. cold and very tired we rang the number provided, we were told the bus would arrive at 7.20 so we decided to wait and not get a taxi, the bus turned up at 7.45. this is not good enough! Would not recommend this hotel! suggest its reviewed.

Good value for money, hotel clean enough. Hotel bar & restaurant pricey but other pubs etc nearby. All in all well worth it!

poor rooms, scratched my 2 month oldcar in places that i cant get my head round how it could have happened through simply moving my car around . . . avoid like the plauge

second time we used this hotel, this time we were in the Charlwood suites which were lovely, Mini bus to airport was excellent, and service provided was as booked, I would use again as an over night stop and transportation / parking for Gatwick.

Our stay at the Russ Hill Hotel, made the start of our holiday stress free, and we was able to start our trip feeling great from a goods night sleep and not having to get up extra early to catch our flight. Would do it again and would recommend to all to do the same. The car was very well looked after and the staff where most helpful. A BIG THANKS from our party !!!

We arrive at 10pm to find a small room with the tiniest cramped shower room that I have ever seen. There was a private party being held at the hotel with loud thumping music playing until 1pm which was not welcomed as we were up at 5am. The transfer bus runs every 45 minutes so you may have a wait if you miss one.

We found this hotel to be very comfortable and the staff all provided an excellent service. The transport to the airport was very punctual with plenty of space for baggage. Overall, it provided a very recommendable stay.

This is a very basic hotel with well lit restaurants! Let's just say you'll need your sunglasses if you decide to eat in there! The rooms are basic, though I guess you get what you pay for...

Although I booked for 15 days on-line when I arrived I was told I had to pay a further £5.00 for the extra day. When I made my booking I gave the dates I would be arriving and leaving and I was given a total amount due, I was not given a daily rate, so the extra £5.00 was unexpected and very annoying.
