Just 4miles approx from the airport, a good bus transfer from the hotel to the airport at a time that suits you, a good nights sleep in a comfy bed before you fly, the car left in a safe place for the duration of your holiday, all at a price you can not believe!! thank you russ hill.

A good value, convenient, choice. Need to remember to add on £3 per person each way for transfers between hotel and airport. Also, be aware that they often move vehicles 5 miles off-site for storage, returning them to hotel in time for your arrival.

Having found this on the internet i was very dissapointed after waiting 3/4 of hour after a long flight, when the bus did come it went flying passed the bus stop, prices had increased without warning up when we reached the Hotel went to reception thinking the car would have been brought up to the main car park instead of which had to walk right to the bottom through all the mud ,we were not impressed at all ,and would not recommend this Hotel.

On the whole the hotel delivered what I expected. Lets face it, it's cheap and you get what you pay for! The transfers to and from the airport were on time and efficient. The only thing that would make me think twice about another stay is the quality of the beds. Our beds were certainly not made for those with back problems!

We had a decent stay although felt the food was a bit pricey so we ate at the local Hungry Horse. Staff were friendly enough. We also had a problem with our car when we returned from our holiday, i.e. the battery was flat. The guys in the carpark office were very helpful and eventually got us on our way. The only downside was that it was freezing cold and we were unable to get a coffee or anything while we waited. All in all I would recommend the hotel and would certainly stay again if I flew from Gatwick.

Very short stay but rooms wer fine as was the service. Transport to the Airpot was adequate but the charge was a surprise. The Transport back from the Airport was really bad. Only one bus an hour and even that was 20 minutes late. This broke down on the short journey to the hotel.

Dont pick this hotel if you want a nice large room,although fairly clean it was very dated, if you like sheets that feel like sackcloth and music most of the night please visit

very dissatisfied drinks and food prices poor value and very exspensive transfer to airport a farce on return we waited 1 hour and 45 mins a unmarked with ncp on and noboby knew it was russ hill coach driver never got out rang hotel 5 times but were not interested going to north terminal the same pull up never got out to say what hotel he was from again he left people the coach we went on had the name of the hotel on the side this had ncp what a farce as i said never again will i be ripped off by this hotel

the first room was rather cold. the second room was warm but a bit small and the bed was far too short for me (6 foot).carvery was good and all staff we met were fine.

Bus time we needed to get to airport already fully booked by the time we checked in so had to go earlier, also luggage spce on bus insufficient. Bus service back meant a 45 minute wait as we just missed one and the next one was 20 mins late. Car was parked very far from hotel when we returned, it would have been helpful for parking attendants to have left it nearer.

This ws our second visit to Russ hill on the first occasion we found it difficult to find but after been there once it was easier. We found the complex very handy tyransfers were good and on time we will use these facilities again

We were but into a bedroom with no heating this is January 08, given floor heater which gave off an awful smell,this did not heat the room,then given another heater told that the heating would becoming on, we asked other quests who informed us that their rooms were nice and warm and their heating was working. After several attempts to complain, we were finally moved to a warmer room with working heaters. When we arrived back we found our car had a flat tyre it had been slashed, there was no note on our car paperwork informing us of this. When we asked to speak to the manager he was no where to be found and no help was offered. I would never stay there again.

We slept in a cupboard!Barely slept no space. our friends had a proper room upstairs. Would never return. I thought £20 return for the 2 of us very expensive for transfer to airport. Not such a bargain really especially as we had such a horrid room.a joke really.

Room wasn't great but this didn't really matter as it was only a short stay. Hotel service in itself was very good, and main thing was the transport which was excellent.

This is the way to do it.I would always have a stay in a hotel like this prior to departure regardless as to time of flights.It's such a good way to start the holiday!(early) Loved it!!

Worst hotel and restaurant I have ever stayed in, grubby rooms, noisy from air traffic and a restaurant that should be closed down! The entrance to the kitchens was covered in spilt food encrusted to the walls. The staff had bad attitudes esp restaurant manager, on requesting a table he asked if we had booked, we replied that we had not and he let out a big sigh, eventually finding us one. The waitress had bronchitis and coughed all over us and our food. The burger was barely edible and made Mcdonalds look like the Ritz, its price of £9.95 was outrageous. The sausages were also very poor. I complained to the manager about the food, having left most of it and he tried to mutter about the burger being fat free - meat free more likely. He then shrugged and gave us the bill in full. I told him it was disgusting but he did not respond until we left the restaurant and as we rounded the corner I heard him say 'Jesus'. Set Gordon Ramsey on this place - it would be the funniest episode ever.

Hotel bar ran out of all beers except Carling by 8.15pm. Bar closed at 11.10pm with no announcment, REMEMBER THIS WAS NEW YEAR'S EVE. The price of breakfast was nearly £3 per head higher than that published. No one seemed to know whether the restaurant was going to be open or whether it would just be bar food. The staff were, with one or two exceptions, miserable which is not surprising as they clearly had no direction.

Our room was in an annexe to the hotel and it was obvious that everything had been 'shoe-horned' into a small space with the tv on a shelf above the foot of the bed and the bathroom up a couple of steps. It was adequate but by no means acceptable for a stay of more than one night.

Hotel fine except reception ran out of change for you to acquire bus tickets for the excursion to airport but can be purchased on bus, also car had done at least 50 miles while we were away.
