The biggest problem I had was with the Hoppa Bus service from Heathrow. Not only was the woman driver uncredibly rude to me and to other passengers, she then dropped me at the Sheraton Heathrow (I'd told her I was staying at the Skyline and wasn't aware there were two - when I saw the Sheraton sign I simply climbed out and she didn't advise me otherwise even though there were only about 8 people on the bus - it transpires that bus didn't even go to the Skyline Hotel). It was late at night, and I then needed to spend 9 pounds to catch a taxi to take me a mile back to the right hotel. It really put me off staying in this area as the transport staff are the rudest I have ever encountered. The check-in staff said they'd experienced this problem before.

My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton Skyline Hotel, at Heathrow for only one night en route to Cyprus. We awoke next morning refreshed and enjoyed a continental breakfast before boarding our flight to Cyprus. The experience was even more enjoyable because the English branch of the family were able to meet with us in such pleasant surroundings. The staff were informative, tolerant (of the young children visiting) and helpful. They were very professional at all times.

Been coming back each weekend from work trips for the last 3 weekends. Just such a haven, so relaxing. The Hotel has a real chilled down vibe. I can potter off to the swimming (which is via the reception area) and when coming back the same way, with wet hair towel in hand and feel very relaxed and welcome. Brilliant rooms. I always request runway view rooms and the staff have always been able to accommodate me.

Quick access to airport. Large and spacious rooms. Got the hotel at a very cheap rate. Very polite and attentive staff. Good food in sports bar.

Leticia, Nadia and Preeti on reception were so helpful. I requested a runway room and they made sure I had one. The Hotel is very relaxing, very clean, v.comfortable and quiet.

Wall are paper thin. Did not sleep well because of all the noise. WE could hear conversations like they were standing in our room and we could hear everything from one amorous couple in the room next to us. I would not stay here again because of the amount of noise. What good is a nice hotel room if you cannot get a good nights sleep.

We first stayed at the Sheraton Skyline last August (08) before our flight to Miami. It was a lovely hotel (even though we got there too late to use the pool which closed early Friday evenings for Caribbean theme party), good clean spacious rooms. Nice and quiet (hate loads of noise!). Staff were very helpful. We ordered a cab to get us and all our luggage to the airport. This Easter it was just my daughter and me for a girly trip to New York and I was keen to stay at the Skyline again - when the bargain price came up on Gosimply, it was a done deal (I tend to use the 'mystery hotels', always got a reasonable idea of which ones they are). Again we didn't get to use the pool since it was closed for refurb, but we were warned of this before our stay. My husband drove us up and used the hotel's car park (free for 2 hours, ideal for us) and we all ate in the Sports Bar - very nice (if expensive, typical hotel prices!). He then left and we settled in for the night. Next morning we took the Hoppa Bus over to T3 - and excellent service. We will be back, for sure!

The hotel was of a high standed. We upgraded on a special offer which included evening buffet & breakfast. The person who was on duty in the executive lounge that evening was excellent,he would be an asset to any establishment

we were very impressed with this hotel.all staff were incredibly helpful,the room was very clean and had everything you need and more,the beds are heavenly,the best we have ever slept in.we were pleasantly surprised as we have stayed in other well known high star hotels near airports before and been very disappointed at how basic they are,so we really were not expecting this level of luxury and comfort.

This hotel was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpfull and the shuttle service was very easy and quick. Would definitely stay next time I travel from Heathrow.

Would definitely not recommend this hotel. The room we stayed in (and the excuse was that they were building) had a boarded up window so it was like being in a box. A caution to anyone using the in room fridge. Every time you move a tin etc. it rings up on your bill. As a diabetic (and having told the reception that we would require the use of a fridge for insulin) we had an astronomical bill - which was charged to our credit card and only after a long time deducted. I would definitely recommend any of a number of hotels that are even closer to Heathrow than the Sheraton - which was chosen as we had used the chain in many countries and thought we knew what we were getting!!!!!

Everything was great from checking in to checking out. The hospitality from the staff was better than I would have expected, the room was fantastic and must have been newly refurbished. The breakfast next morning was also superb and the staff was very friendly. The only thing that wasn't a 5-star experience was the shuttle for which we had to wait a bit too long - there was nothing wrong with the shuttle as such. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences I've had for a very long time.

Havin stayed previously and not had to pay for parking and had free airport transfers it was a bit disappointing to have to do so on this visit. Particularly since there was no alternative parking nearby. Upgraded to Executive floor which was a nice experience
