"Hotel itself is Ok ( a bit run down) but hopelessly managed from check in by a surly receptionist to a complete shambles at breakfast. Here a request for some bread to accompany the cheese/salami continental "selection" was met with blank looks & 4 requests had to be made for some toast while 1 waiter took a rack of toast on a regular walk around the restaurant & back to the kitchen for no apparent reason! Didnt chance the leisure facilties or restaurant for an evening meal : safer to go out!"

"overbooked 10 rooms when we arrived,so we were shoved out to another cheaper hotel. this booking had been paid for 2 months earlier, and we had even received a reminder two days before we arrived, to remind us! they blamed it on the "computer"

"The check in was speedy. The bed was so comfortable and spotlessy clean as were the bathroom and towels. We heard no noise from anywhere around us-peaceful. Just what we needed before a long haul flight. The parking was great, especially as
we could take our car keys with us. The driver who picked us up at the airport was so good, he even drove us straight to our car and put the luggage in the boot for us. We were really impressed. Thanks."

"A good experience before going on holiday. The only problem we encountered was getting there using our Garmin satnav which was useless, and also on leaving. This is not the fault of the hotel but we encountered others going round in circles trying to find the place."

"The bedroom was next door to the lift, noisy.
No air conditioning, if you opened the french door the noise from the front door activity was dreadful!
Lastly these rooms are in urgent need of decoration, they needed it 5 years ago, they are just disgusting and not what you would expect for Hilton Group-at any price."

"Great start to our holiday. Staff friendly, check-in quick. Lovely room with great facilities. Small pool but fine for a quick swim. Arrangements for parking were excellent, car park almost next door to hotel. Transfers to and from airport excellent. Collected from hotel on outward journey and upon return by the time we exited the airport with our bags taxi was ready and waiting. Would definitely use this service again!"

"My friend and I stayed for one night prior to flying from Birmingham airport for a 2 weeks stay in Canada. The room was clean and well appointed, the staff were courteous and helpful. I left my car at the hotel for the 2 weeks and was helped with parking arrangements. The taxi transfer company to and from the airport were excellent. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for this kind of usage. We also had a good meal in the bar on the night of our departure."

"The staff on check-in were more than polite as we arrived a little later than anticipated and it was very busy. The rooms were one of the best we had stayed in and the beds were very comfortable. We didn't eat at the hotel as the prices are quite steep for a family of four. We did however use the bar and the staff were also friendly there too and the prices are about average for drinks. If we flew from Birmingham again and we could get the parking/hotel deal again I would not have any second thoughts about satying here."

"Rather disappointed with the Hotel. Reception staff good on arrival. Room Poor. Booked a meal in the restaurant, overpriced for what we got. Very noisy in corridors after 11pm, we had to be up at 5am! Room was pokey and freezing cold, eventually got it warm.
Transfer service was excellent and on time. Car parking was adequate and safe.
We would not stay here again."
