"I was really rather dubious at booking a quad room for £55 but I must say we were all very pleasantly surprised. The beds were comfortable and the room was large enough to accommodate them all. The bathroom was clean, shower was good, plenty of towels. I would certainly stay again if I needed a bed near the airport/NEC"

"The promise of an additional pillow never materialised. The lifts did not work at times, had to climb 5 flights of stairs. The bar was not comfortable for a meal. The whole place has a run-down feeling and appearance"

"overbooked 10 rooms when we arrived,so we were shoved out to another cheaper hotel. this booking had been paid for 2 months earlier, and we had even received a reminder two days before we arrived, to remind us! they blamed it on the "computer" dont go there"

"The rooms are usual for a high quality the hotel chain; clean, well equipped and spacious enough for the short stay. Most importantly for a good night’s sleep the beds are very comfortable. Bar (with casual food) & restaurant available, attentive staff, good food. Not tried a breakfast but no doubt of Crowne Plaza standard. Transfers to airport on time and short trip, very well placed hotel. We left our car in car park, in a disabled space as blue badge holder, they were happy it stayed there, at front of hotel, for the duration. Finally Go Simply has the most economic booking prices even though we are loyalty card members of the hotel chain, GS beat those prices."

"Pet friendly Hotel first class. Coming up from Devon to see some of my family in Birmingham. It was great to find this Hotel. very happy staff and helpfull. I will mention this Hotel to all my friends in Devon .mr k keenan."

"We have used the Hilton before when flying from Birmingham. Car parking facilities very good, no multi storey's! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Transfer to and from airport easy and quick. Would definitely use again."

"hotel easy to find, instructions to hotel very easy to follow , reception facilities great staff friendly and very helpful. rooms very comfortable, just what you need before an early flight, transfer to airport on time,but return we had to wait nearly an hour.. B ut all in all, we would deinately use this hotel, and have recomended it to friends"

"We were not warned that on our arrival, we would find a building site, with a few parking spaces, and not a proper car park. We were lucky however to find a space to park, after waiting some time. We ate in the bar at night, an expensive, unexiting meal. On our return from holiday, I contacted the hotel about 9.50p.m. to request transfer to the hotel, but nothing arrived. At 10.15p.m. I phoned again, as no vehicle had arrived. I was told there was a problem with the shuttle bus and a taxi would come for us. I think that if I hadn't phoned a second time, my husband and I could still be waiting. Our car was not on the building site, but in the NCP car park. Fortunately as I was unwell, and my husband does not walk very well, reluctantly the hotel sent someone to bring the car to us. I doubt we shall ever use the Holiday Inn again."

"The room was too warm and by 9pm most of the dining room menu had run out of most of its choice. was left with the fish and chips which frankly was horrid. Otherwise the room was quite clean and ideal for a overnight stay"

"Very good value for an excellent service, rooms spacious, clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facility provided. Plenty of local pubs in area for meals/drinks/something to do, airport transfer/return excellent with executive cabs provided, car park facility at rear of hotel secure. Staff friendly and helpful. Overall recommended."

"Arrived at hotel & no problems with booking in. Efficient, friendly receptionist. However, we had paid for breakfast but on arriving in the restaurant we were told that breakfast was not included. The member of staff was was not particularly polite & went to check. When she came back she said it was a mistake but her attitude was not good. Apart from that I would say everything else was good."

"We have stayed at premier inns a number of times in the last few months and have always experienced outstanding service. With two teenagers we found the family rooms spacious, clean and the stay a pleasant experience and have never been let down"

"Overall the hotel and facilities were excellent but when we arrived at approx 01:30 in the morning there was no-one on reception and no-one around to ask. There was a party in the bar and it seems the reception staff were doubling as bar staff as well. The gentleman on duty was very polite but obviously a little over stretched so perhaps this needs addressing in future"
