Hotel provides transfers 24 hours a day. Transfers run every hour between 10am and 4pm, and every half hour the rest of the time, and are included.

Airparks Parking package: Transfers are provided by the car park, free of charge, 24 hours a day.

An open air car park with 150 spaces, is free for the night of your stay.
The car park is controlled by security entrance and exit barriers; security numbers are available from reception.

If parking at the nearby secure car park is selected, instructions are as follows:
  • Arrive at the hotel and unload your luggage.
  • Drive your vehicle to the offsite facility (following the hotel shuttle service), located approximately 1 mile from the hotel.
  • The shuttle will bring you back to the hotel, where you will be asked to provide your flight number and the time and date you are due back to Birmingham Airport.
  • You will be taken to the airport in the morning, and upon your return you will be taken directly to your vehicle.
  • With this package, you keep your keys, so your vehicle is not moved once you have parked it.
  • The hotel's shuttle service operates 24 hours a day.


Long-term off-site parking package includes parking at Airparks. Park overnight at the hotel, then take your vehicle to Airparks the next day. You should allow approximately 40 minutes to check-in your car and transfer to the airport.

Great start to our holiday. Staff friendly, check-in quick. Lovely room with great facilities. Small pool but fine for a quick swim. Arrangements for parking were excellent, car park almost next door to hotel. Transfers to and from airport excellent. Collected from hotel on outward journey and upon return by the time we exited the airport with our bags taxi was ready and waiting. Would definitely use this service again!

room was very cold and could'nt get AC to warm it up, had to go bed to get warmed up. bar was nice and warm and cosy. room was disappointing due to above.

From what I saw the bar meals offered for better value than the resturant which was very disappointing

We were not warned that on our arrival, we would find a building site, with a few parking spaces, and not a proper car park. We were lucky however to find a space to park, after waiting some time. We ate in the bar at night, an expensive, unexiting meal. On our return from holiday, I contacted the hotel about 9.50p.m. to request transfer to the hotel, but nothing arrived. At 10.15p.m. I phoned again, as no vehicle had arrived. I was told there was a problem with the shuttle bus and a taxi would come for us. I think that if I hadn't phoned a second time, my husband and I could still be waiting. Our car was not on the building site, but in the NCP car park. Fortunately as I was unwell, and my husband does not walk very well, reluctantly the hotel sent someone to bring the car to us. I doubt we shall ever use the Holiday Inn again.

check in on arrival said we were not booked there sent me on a wild chase round birmingham not my home town for 1.25 hours they did reopen restaurant for evening meal for us and offered us £5 off per person for morning breakfast cost £15!!!!

Room was nice and clean, just spoilt by poor arrival and check in procedures. Also, breakfast was not available despite checking.

We had to get a taxi back to the hotel or wait 1.5 hrs for the shuttle due to flight times and the break in transport during the day
