The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The room we had appeared to have been recently refurbished. The food was excellent. The bottle of wine in our room was a very nice surprising touch. The transfer to the hotel was also very efficient. Good friendly staff. Value for money it would be very hard to beat. Only problem we had was we didn't have enough time at the hotel to enjoy the facilities. Next time maybe.
We stayed the night before we flew out on holiday. When we arrived back a week later, our car battery was flat. One of the reception staff very kindly agreed to jump start the car for us. Which was very kind of her and meant we could start the long drive home straight away. Also the staff in the dining room at breakfast time were really nice and friendly. Couldn't have asked for better.
the literature we saw gave us reason to expect better than the reality
we came early as we had an early morning flight we made use of facilities which were good
Booked double room, non smoking, got a twin room that was disgusting with cigarette smoke. We were moved to another room but again a twin room. bar area to have a drink, tables were covered with dirty plates and glasses, took half an hour for this to be cleared.
Got a basic room that was comfortable and clean for a very cheap price. The car parking for the fortnight was as good as any long term parking bay. I would use this hotel and park deal again in the future.
We were not happy at having to park our car on a field, what if it rained and the car got bogged down?! We had no sleep at all due to being right next to the lift that you could hear everytime someone used it! Also here was a wedding party in and we were on the same floor as a group of them having latenight drinks n a room with the doors open!!! Personally won't be using this hotel again!!
Hotel and staff were great food at bar at night brilliant and night porter was really great as we left at4am. Transfer to airport was on time and great, transfer back to hotel was so easy one phone call and the bus was there.
Hotel couldn't find my reservation but management okayed it. Fortunately I had a paper copy of my reservation. Think I missed an earlier pickup up because the hotel marked on the shuttle was not the Erskine but it turns out that shuttle probably would have taken me there. Would appreciate more details regarding pickup on reservation printout.
The views of the bridge from the hotel were beautiful. The mini bus only runs every hour at quater past in the morning. Can get booked up quickly.
This is the second time we have booked through this website and will not do it again. We booked a double room and for the second time at the hotel we were told because we booked through another site there were no double rooms left even though the site said we were booking a double room. The twin room was shabby, the beds very uncomfortable and the toilet did not flush properly and this was supposed to be a signature room. Not a good start to our holiday!!!
We have used this hotel three times now and the rooms are adequate. This last time we arrived at 4am and they allowed us a later check out as we had to drive home to Aberdeen the next day. Unfortunately the transfer to and from the airport has been a source of annoyance. Once the bus left without us and we had to pay £10 for a taxi. Another time we could not contact the driver for 30mins on arrival from a holiday, and were left standing at the airport. This time we were the last people standing again and when we saw a bus we were told it wasn't ours and that it would be along soon. However after waiting another 5mins the same driver we had spoken to was sent back for us. He was very apologetic , unlike the other driver
This hotel is easy to find & parking no problem.Service is excellent & transfer to the airport also. Would definitely recommend it.
Second time that I have used this hotel and parking facility. I would thouroughly recommend it to everyone. Value for money that I feel you would struggle to beat elsewhere. Only hiccup was the bus going out was held up and running a little bit late but we had left ourselves plenty of time. Returning the bus was there waiting to pick us up. All in all a great place to stay for pre flight nights from Glasgow airport.
It as a great experience knowing once we arrived, car parked up, that we were able to relax in the knowledge we would arrive on time for our flight. Room and bus service excellent. Will use this again and recommend friends & family to do the same.
Pleasant, quiet stay, Transfer drivers a bit speedy but punctual, Free use of Health club with pool, sauna etc a bonus. Refurb commencing mid-summer I think. Good value when booked early
Although I have said the room was not up to much. This is the second time we have used this service, only this time out booking was not made with the hotel and we were put into a room with no heating then after 4 hours we were eventually put into a very nice clean warm room
When we arrived we were allocated a room opposite the lifts, the room was also a twin. The reception staff changed the room for us however we were still given a twin room as there were no doubles left. The bar food was good and we had a nice evening sitting in the bar having a drink.(although the drinks were expensive)
The hotel had three hundred teenagers resident who were running amok until 4am in the morning. Calls to reception to report were unanswered. In the morning our comments were greeted with a shrug.
Good transfer to and from airport. Instructions to hotel not that great as I ended up going over the bridge whilst i viewed the hotel from the bridge. Instructions should be writen by someone driving the journey.
