I would not use travelodge again. When we arrived they had booked out all their Quad rooms, although we had reserved one! They did manage to find us two twin rooms at no extra cost but we specified we wanted our children in the same room as us as we had to get up at 4am for a flight to spain. we booked the travelodge as it was advertised that the price included 7 nights free parking. We assumed this was in the travelodge car park, but it was a ten minute drive to another part of Glasgow. We don't know Glasgow so that was an additional stress. Arriving late at night and having no room and then being told that we couldnt park in the car park is totally unacceptable. We'll book a B&B next time and make our own parking arrangements.

Price for the night much higher than their advertised minimum, probably due to football match in the city.

Comfy bed. Fab shower. The car park service was very efficient. On return they had the keys ready, we were dropped right by the car & when asked the driver waited to make sure it started.

on arrival at hotel customer service was very polite and friendly explained where to park and how to get there. Room walls were dirty, stained, bathroom and shower were fine. Did i have a good night sleep definetely not, it felt like i was on a water bed i needed to hold on for dear life or i would have fell out of bed as they were that soft, i booked an overnight stay so i wouldn't need to get up at 2am to catch flight i might as well as saved myself some money as i didn't sleep anyway. Bus to airport was there early enough, we had to wait for coach back but otherwise ok.

The hotel and everything about it was excellent except for the evening meal, that was a desaster. The times for the evening meals were from 7.30 to 9.30. My wife and I decided to have an evening meal at aprox. 8.30 only to be told that the meals were finnished for the evening due to the suppliers not delivering any fresh supplies. A table was booked for us at the hotel accross the road for 9.00pm, although the order was taken promptly we had to wait 50 minutes for the starter. The main course was nothing special, I would give it a 3 out of 10. All in all we were a very dissapointed with the meal.

Not hotel's fault, but telephone for transfer bus at airport was out of order. Ended up taking taxi late at night. Transfer from hotel to airport was impeccable.

Was not advised that both Ramada and Travelodge are under same management and that the airport transfer service was shared. There was no mention of Travelodge on the vehicle ( only Ramada ) after waiting 30 minutes I approached the driver of an off airport parking sevice who radioed his base who called the hotel. When I contacted driver he told me he provided transfer service for both hotels - there was no signage at all indicating that information and no apologies were offered either by the drive or the front desk receptionist. I have been a manager in the hospitality industry for over 35 years and having a guest wait in a temperature of 8 degrees centigrade for over an hour is in my opinion totally unacceptable and does not warrant any charge whatsover.

Overall the hotel was great. Transfer to the airport had to be by foot but this had nothing to do with the hotel, it was to do with the police not allowing vehicles to drop off at the airport following the terrorist attack on the airport the previous day.

The receptionist was on her own when we checked in and had to deal with a lengthy queue. She did this very well but it would have helped if another member of staff had been there to assist her. We parked our car at the Q Park and on return found it had been reversed into a lamp post by one of their staff, causing damage to the bumper. We were able to drive it home, but it now has to be taken into a repair shop for two dents to be dealt with. Not a good return for two tired travellers as we were told the parking there would be more secure than leaving the car at the Travelodge.

The cons are actively promoted by hotel in an effort to reduce hotel costs but the hotel is not THAT cheap and thus the final impression was one of inadequate facilities to be taken seriously as a hotel. I shall not be using them again.
