The transfer going to airport was finr but coming back we had to wait nearlt 35 minutes and one bus was oicking up people for the travel lodge and then coming back for uds so probably will not use the normandy again
I was very impressed by the quality of service I received. My only negative comment would be that it was not immediately obvious how to exit from the secure car park when I returned. More guidance would have been appreciated.
Lovely clean and tidy room. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful will recommend it to our friends and will use it again ourselves.
Had a good night at the Normandy before flying the following morning.I cannot fault anything and would stay again.
The room was a single and a bit small, but serviceable. The staff were extraordinarily cordial and helpful.
would recomend this hotel to anyone.great food, great service and hotel was spotless
Nice to relax before a long journey, loved it, definitely be back
The Normandy Hotel was fine for the one night. We did not have the stress of driving on the M8 first thing in the morning. Would use this hotel again.
Having used the Normandy on more than one occassion, the cost is important, as my family and I have to travel from the Highlands, to Glasgow generally to fly abroad usually on the way there and on the way back, which adds a substantial amount on to the cost of our holiday. The accommodation is fine for this purpose, and I would definately use the Normandy again, there was no problems with the transfers to and from the airport, and the dining was of a decent standard.
Very nearly missed flight as bus did not arrive as arranged and staff took eye off ball.
If we had arrived early in the day we probably wouldn't have stayed. However, you get what you pay for and we did have a relatively inexpensive room.
Wefound the staff at the hotel very helpful. The room was a little small (but for the price and for only the one was fine). What did make the whole thing work was the ease in the booking with yourselves online. For that we thank you and will pass on your site to friends. Thanks again.
this is the second time we have used the Normandy. it has gone down hill since last September. the hotel needs a refurb, the room carpet was sticky and so minute a room we couldn't open the suitcase without putting it on the bed. Everywhere looked and felt grimy. the toilets by the restaurant smelt like public toilets! the parking system has changed and meant a lot of faffing about from last time where reception handled everything. when we came back the bus was well over half an hour in coming to the airport, then at the hotel the parking was all locked up so we had to go back to reception where he found someone with a key then the car wasn't where they said it would be and the key man was no where to be found as there was no light we couldn't see - eventually we found the car and went it took over an hour and three quarters from ringing at the airport to clearing the carpark. Last time it was 45 minutes. we won't be using this hotel again
Excellent value for money, dinner and breakfast were very good, transfer to airport no problem, and secure parking no problem ( with car wash- minimum extra charge-fantstic)
Very good value and prompt transfer service pick-up. Just be aware that the overnight transfer bus to the airport goes only at a quarter to the hour. PW
The secure parking area was virtually full and we were there during what would be recognised as off peak. I can only assume that they have another overflow parking area.
We found the Normandy Hotel excellent for our over night stay before our holidays. The transfers too and from the airport were ideal. Would book it again.
Value for money. Staff helpfull. Room quite small.Restaurant food & staff satisfactory. Only grump is surface in secure car park could be a lot better.
Room a bit tatty could do with refurbishment. Windows very dirty obviously not cleaned for some time. Bar meal excellent for value and quality. Staff excellent.
Although our confirmation said that parking was in a secure area the hotel told us that because of what we had paid our parking would be at the public car park and not secure. We showed them the confirmation and our was then transferred to the secure car park.
