Mr Stott
I decided on a light meal. Three employees were at the restaurant desk: two talking and one not. The latter smiled at me, so I asked for a table for one. The man in charge lifted his head and said petulantly, 'Please bear with us a moment, sir.' A couple of minutes later I was shown to a table in the nearly empty restaurant. I ordered a glass of wine - fine - and a starter, but no main course. I read a paper for quite a while, and then my waiter came and asked me if anyone had taken my order for dessert. I replied that I hadn't yet had my starter, so he scuttled away and came back with it. The meal was OK as places like Holiday Inn go, and it wasn't quite the worst one of my holiday: that 'award' goes to breakfast in a flophouse in Dingle. All in all, the Holiday Inn was badly let down by its restaurant, and I had quite a reasonable breakfast at the airport.
Mr Nichols
fantastic hotel, but a shame that on the night we stayed the fire alarm went off, resulting in us having to vacate the hotel room in the middle of our sleep and to assemble on the carpark in the freezing cold then finding it impossible to return to sleep
Mr HAWKE
as above and in lieu of a wedding reception being held we were located a room well away from the occasion which made for a restful night.something that doesnt always happen.....full marks
Mr Taylor
Shortly after arriving, we were stuck in the lift when the doors refused to open on the ground floor. Several calls on the alarm bell brought no response. Many button pushes later the lift moved to the first floor where we got out. A complaint to the duty manager brought total indifference. 'The alarm is nothing to do with us, it goes through to a remote company' The Airparks service was excellent.
Mr Munday
I was expecting to be transported from the hotel to the airport and not have to worry about car parking, but I guess the savings have to be made somewhere! Breakfast is VERY expensive if it's not included in your package. All things considered It's still cheaper than driving direct to the Airparks and organising that yourself.
Mrs Carberry
Excellent service from hotel and Airparks, who both followed up my lost phone, and was found in my car later. Will have confidence to use services again. Already booked another Holiday Inn weekend!
Miss Fraser
The hotel staff were very friendly & helpful. The Parking staff were extremely helpful when our car wouldn't start on return from our holiday. We would definitely use the service again if flying from Luton.
Mr Newton
Great hotel, which was convenient for an overnight stay before a small, fairly painless journey to Airparks and so airport. The reception staff were friendly, attentive and helpful both when we arrived and checking out at 3.30am!
Mr Wilcock
If you are looking for value and convenience, in our experience, you can't go wrong!
Mrs Dyche
This was a really good price for overnight stay and 15 days parking. I would definitely use again. Parking surfaces not too good and poor lighting where cars kept, but good transfers. We dined in hotel restaurant and this was quite expensive for average food. Overall, for the money paid, excellent value. Lovely hotel.
Mr Clements
We were allocated a bedroom near to a private party (disco and all!). Children were allowed to run amok in the corridor outside the bedrooms on this floor. I had to contact reception three times before the situation was resolved. We were offered an alternative room in another part of the building but had already unpacked and in bed. In the knowledge that we were leaving at 5am why were we not allocated a room in a quiet area when we checked in? We experienced a 30 minute delay at Airparks due to their enthusiasm to over-fill the bus. The standing capacity of the bus was published as 17, we counted 24 standing. Due to this delay we only just managed to catch our flight.
Mr Davis
The service at the car park was good until we returned and reported that our car had been 'keyed'. The supervisor went with us to see the damage, looked at it and said that it looked old to him. Having been in the car business for forty years I said no one could tell how old it was by just looking at it, at this point he took some photographs and we returned to his office. After a while he called us over to look at his computer screen and showed us a photograph of the scratch, which he claimed was there when I left the car. I said it definitely was not there when I had left the car in their care. He then asked if I was going to further it? and I replied yes. He then gave me a card with their customer services dept. phone no. on and suggested I contact them. I phoned them the next day and they said they would write to me whithin five days. Seven days later nothing. I would suggest that you recommend to your future customers that they video their car panels when they leave their car. I must add that the hotel ops. manager Duncan was extremely helpful when I asked if they had any CCTV footage of my car but unfortunately, they did not.
Miss Dimdore
The room was quite small, but very clean. The Airparks car park is only 5 minutes down the road, but all the signs to it have been removed so it took us a bit longer to find it. Overall, the hotel was good value for money.
Mr Wallis
An excellent service, no down sides, drop off and pick up were both quick and staff were most helpful and polite, would use again.
