I thought that parking was on-site, or at least "managed" for you. Instead there was a 1 hour round trip in taking the car to an opff airport site and bussing back. The hotel webpage does not make this clear.
room was good found hair on shooweroom floor and wasent ours but on the hole it was ok not enough tea and sugar in room
We were able to walk to the airport the following day which was good. The room was very comfortable - the beds enabled a good and comfortable sleep. the room and hotel were spotless. Service was good also. However, to use the internet on the tv was prohibitively expensive and I was informed that the connection wouldn't be great due to close proximity to the airport. We weren't at all impressed with the food on offer, but ate it anyway because we were hungry, however if I were to stay there again, I think I would prefer to eat out, assuming no improvement. I ordered an Aberdeen Angus Cheeseburger, which was fairly expensive - it turned out to be processed/reformed meat, and didn't taste so good - I wasn't impressed with that at all.
A lift down to the bus stop level would be easier than all those stairs or walking in the rain right around the outside of the building.
The hotel fulfilled all expectations,we had a relaxing peaceful (very good triple glazing) night. The buffet breakfast was just right the following morning, (and starts around 4.00am !) The desk reception were very helpful too. Traffic at Luton gets really busy in the mornings, and this hotel is only a short (10 min) walk to the terminal building. Recommended
Easy to find, close to the terminal. Easy to get to Airparks with no hassle at all. An smooth start to our holiday. Although normally we'd have walked from the hotel to the terminal with small children and bags we got a taxi as no transfer bus is available.
Limited dining menu. Dining area is part of reception and tables and chairs were not clean. Maybe needs refurbishment.
On my return, picked up car OK but it was in the dark...when I got home, saw car in the morning in daylight, there was a large scratch on the bonnet which was definately not there when I dropped off the car...I'd only had car a couple of weeks so I was not happy
Very close to Luton airport, easy to find. Clean, kind and breakfast was alright. And I guessed a double room with this good quality at £49 was quite cheap as well. Actually I can accurately remember because it was almost 5 months ago, but I remember I was generally satisfied at Express Holiday inn Luton airport. I would recommend this hotel to those who want to stay close to Luton airport.
Very clean friendly and inviting. The perfect wind down before embarking on our holiday journey. Thank you
our one night stay was very comfortable except for the sofa bed which had a big uncomfortable ridge in it. I would recommend this hotel as a convienent stop over before or after your holiday. The staff were friendly and helpful. The parking at the airpark was very efficient.
Easy walking distance to Luton Airport and friendly staff, together with good food, made it a pleasant overnight stay.
Walked to airport as shuttle bus did not start until 4am. I was suprised how busy the area was at 0345hrs. The distance was easy to walk with suitcases in tow too! The hotel itself was fine however we found the staff on arrival too interested in their own conversation to stop and greet us, this may have been the reason for intially putting us in the wrong room.
Perfect for what we wanted - a clean, modern no frills hotel within every amenity necessary for a one night stay within a few minutes walk from the terminal. If passing through Luton, we would stay there again.
the parking gave me a very good and quick service, and staying at the hotel made it very convienient and relaxing before heading off on our holiday. All in all it was very good value and i would do it again.
very clean and convenient for airport well within walking distance. a very relaxing start to our holiday
The room with free car parking for two weeks was great value for money. The hotel was good and clean, and there was even a basic breakfast cereal and toast for those like us who had to leave before 06.00. Was able to arrange taxi from hotel to airport which was very prompt and only £5.00 ideal when young children and lots of cases. Paid extra £20 to have car delivered to airport on arrival home worth evey penny. I would definitely use the service again.
the hotel location is excellent right on the airport. the one draw back is the food on offer at the hotel, the breakfast was fine but there wasn't much on offer in the evening when we got there
Hotel was great value for money as it was the same price to stay there as it was to park the car for a week anyway. Airparks was a little but further away than I thought it would be but the bus dropped me off at a bus stop 2 minutes walk to the hotel. Would definitely use the hotel and car parking service again next time we go away.
Check in/out at the hotel was easy, and we parked the car the night before and walked to the airport the next morning in a few minutes. The room was quiet (especially so, given the location)and it was a very pleasant start to the holiday. I would definitely recommend this hotel and parking package.
