transfers to Luton Airport

If a room only package is booked, transfers are available between 05.00 and 23.00, and cost £1.00 per person each way. For service from the airport, guests should go to the hotel courtesy bus pick-up point.
If the package with parking included is chosen, transfers will be provided by Airparks 24 hours a day and take approximately 15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Guests should allow 1 hour for check-in and transfer to the airport. Due to increased traffic between 04.00-09.30 and 16.30-19.30, guests should allow an additional 30 minutes for the journey to the car park.

parking arrangements

Parking package includes parking at Airparks' secured car park near the airport. You will need to leave your car keys with Airparks.

Arrival: Drive to Airparks to check-in your car where you will then get a free transfer to the bus stop 200 yards from the hotel.

Pull up at the entrance barrier, park in one of the arrivals bays, then head into the check-in building. You'll just need a copy of your booking confirmation, however there's a member of staff on hand to help if you need it. The machine will give you a tag, which you should attach to your keys, and a ticket, which you should keep safe as you'll need it later. Drop your keys in the box with the same number as the lane you've parked in. Your car will be parked for you, so just head to the waiting area and hop on the bus to the airport. You'll need to show your ticket to the driver and explain that you want to get off at the hotel bus stop, not the terminal. The bus runs every 20 minutes, 24 hours a day, and takes 13 minutes. You can check into the hotel from 14:00.

Return: The shuttle bus back to the car park leaves from outside the terminal. You'll need to show the ticket you were given when you checked in to the driver. Make your way to the check-out shelter and follow the instructions on the key dispenser - again, it's a very quick process. The machine will give you your car key back and show you on the screen where your car is. Then just drive to the exit barrier - you'll need to scan the barcode attached to your keys, then the barrier will lift.

Please note: Prices quoted for transfers and additional parking days correct at time of publication. Additional days parking beyond the duration of your stay as indicated at the time of booking may incur additional fees.

The initial parking and transfer to hotel was first class. However, when I wanted to be picked up in the morning from the hotel bus stop, the bus didn't stop as it was already full. I ended up walking (only about 5 minutes to terminal) which was ok for me but probably not everyone. I think this aspect of customer care has been over looked.

We did drive to the hotel before being told that we had to drive back to where we had come from as the parking facility is near the M1. We were taken back to hotel by bus & dropped outside the Holiday Inn Express just around the corner. Were a bit confused where to catch the bus back to the car park as we had walked from hotel to airport terminal in the morning that we had left. When back at car park it was easy to use the automated key return system & staff on hand to help if there was a problem. Would use again.

if you book hotel and parking combined, better to go to car park first and take transfer bus to hotel if on outlying car park, much easier this way.
