Long Term Car Parks 2 and 3 reviews

Good value being relatively close to departures but further from arrivals. If walking, will get wet in rain and have to be reasonably fit to walk carrying/pulling luggage.

The car parking machine did not acknowledge my number plate so we had to call for assistance both when entering and leaving the car park. It took quite a while for someone to answer the call and didn't even work the first time round. Good value for money but a bit of a hassle.

Got a last minute booking of £17 for 4 days in the long stay, so not even a need to transfer. 3-5 min walk to Departures. Registration recognition didn't work, but took the staff 30 seconds to check booking and enter us. Ticket to exit worked fine. As others have said, clearer signage back to car park is needed as Arrivals is across the other side of airport, but we soon figured where we were. Excellent Value/Service so will use again!

prefer to park on site and not get a bus to a car park outside the airport and leave keys behind. I find on site parking easy to use and easily walkable to terminal building.

The car park was easy to find and a short walk to the terminal. When entering the car park and leavign the car park we had to speak to a staff member through the intercom as our ticket had not been printed out automatically when we arrived. However, there was someone there to resolve the problem and it did not dely us at all. I would definately recommend and use this car park again.

Very easy to get to and within easy walking distance (4-5 mins) of the airport. Plenty of spaces. Only criticism is that when booked online, they specify that upon arrival at the car park your reg number is automatically scanned and a ticket printed. I had to press the 'Assistance' button to get a ticket, and then again on the way out, you should be able to insert your ticket and the barrier should raise if you have pre-paid. Again, I had to use the assistance button, and waited a couple of minutes for an answer to be let out of the car park. This has happened on both occasions I have used car park 3. Not bad enough not to use it again, but could be improved.

Given the weather at the time, access by car and on foot was very good.

Not the cheapest car parking to be had but I prefer to leave on site at airport, walk to terminal and keep my car keys with me. This is the 5th time I've used this year and no problems, just wish they would do a discount for returning customers!

For us, it was ideal. We only had hand baggage and we wanted to arrive at the airport and get through to departures within 1 hour. Not having to wait around for buses was good. The only downside was that when we came back, it was dark, and we were slightly disorientated and there were not enough signs to direct us to the carpark. However we found it without too much bother. So, it was convenient and easy, but could have done with more signs.

Number plate recognition was fine going in ( to register )it did not work on the way out. I had to call the guy who wanted my ref number. Don't leave this at home otherwise you will be paying again. Otherwise no issues, nice and close to the terminal.
