From A1 (both directions):

  • Take slip road to the left, signposted A696 Jedburgh and Airport.
  • Go along the A696 towards the airport, then take the second slip road on the left, signposted Woolsington and Throckley.
  • At the top of the slip road, turn right over the dual carriageway, straight over the mini roundabout, and down over the Metro lines.
  • Callerton Parking is the first entrance on the left-hand side.

Southbound on the A68/A696:

  • Go through the village of Ponteland, towards Newcastle.
  • Carry on straight over the airport roundabout, and along the dual carriageway (A696).
  • After approximately 500 yards, take the first slip road on the left, signposted for Woolsington and Throckley.
  • At the top of the slip road, turn left and carry on over the Metro lines.
  • Callerton Parking is the first entrance on the left-hand side.

Eastbound on the A69:

  • Travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley.
  • At end of the slip road, turn left onto the B6323.
  • At the T-junction, turn right.
  • Continue on this road and take the 2nd turning to the left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turning for the Airport).
  • Follow the road for approximately 2 miles and when you reach the mini roundabout, go straight over.
  • Go straight over the next roundabout and carry on over the Metro lines.
  • Callerton Parking is the 1st entrance on the left.

I don't like to give a bad review as the staff were very good, despite the bad organisation. The arrival park was too small for all the cars arriving and the booking-in system very slow so there was a great queue. Tranfer was OK despite seat belts not working and a hurried driver. On arrival back at the car park our cars were ready, warm and running, BUT there was no checking receipts at all so anyone could have driven off in our car.

Entrance to car park is easily missed. Once parked it is a simple matter of handing over your car keys and a 3 minute minibus transfer to the Airport Terminal. All very easy and efficient. I would definitely use this service again.

when i got my car back the door was marked with white paint on the drivers door which from my point of view means my vehicle was not treated as it should be

I use this car park regularly because it's cheap and collection is efficient! However, drop off is always crazy with cars everywhere. Miinibuses are a disgrace. But I do recommend if you want to get home quickly.

Many thanks to all the staff at Callerton Parking. I flew out to Spain on Christmas Day, was running about an hour later than I told you but nothing was a problem. I used your service on 1st. January 2010 and on both occasions have received a great service. Many thanks & send you all best wishes for 2012

This place looked very run down. The 'office' was a scruffy portakabin and cars seemed to be parked randomly rather than in marked bays. You need to use your own mobile to contact them on your return, as there is no courtesy phone at the airport provided. Our return driver kept us waiting in the minibus until it was full, and then kept answering his mobile phone while driving - therefore breaking the law. Although the price was reasonable, I would not use again.
