Excellent value,very convenient for Gatwick airport. Some areas a little worn but clean. 24hr check-in. Parking payable even when in hotel.

Everyone was only too pleased to help and advise, re pick up times for transfer, car parking. The interactive facilities on TV were fab, allowing you to set wake up times etc. Everywhere in the hotel was very clean, and our room was very comfortable. Would stay again and also would recommend to familes and friends.

The rooms were of a quality standard and having the transfer coach every 30 mins was a plus compared to some offering 1 hour transfers. The parking facilities were very efficient - when you get back you just want to be on the road asap and it was very slick.

This hotel is so near the airport that we used the day before check in so did not have two hours at the airport for our early flight thank you

From the moment we entered the hotel, the service was excellent, both at Reception and in the Dining Room. The staff were more than helpful and very polite. I would not hesitate (and, indeed, have done so already) to recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

we arrived late and had prompt check in, had clean room with disabled shower so was quite large, was good experience but we were only there for 5 hours, tho was better than sleeping on gatwick floor i can imagine!!

Rooms were clean and we were able to have an adjoining twin room for the children. Restaurant service was poor. One child's meal arrived and the other was forgotten!! Food was ok but pricey. Transfer service was excellent and reception staff were very helpful.

Hotel was clean, parking on site, waited a while to get the transfer after we landed, car parking operators very friendly.

The family room offered two sleeping areas, which suited our needs and combinaton extreemly well. The hotel had good facilities all round and the parking included made this a great value option when catching an early flight. Our car was moved from its origional spot but we were informed this may happen before hand. The fact we were imediatly told this upon return and our car had been replaced to the exact spot we left it, reassured us we had not been part of any publicised scam. Our only critisizium would be that the transfer bus did not announce the terminal it had first stopped at and not knowing or recognizing this fact until we had got inside the terminal added stress to our journey.

we chose this hotel because it was close to the airport but more importantly because of the leisure facilities it claimed to have when we booked on line.To our dismay when we arrived the pool and all leisure facilites were closed for upgrading.When i questioned the receptionist and told her of my dissapointment at the closure i was informed that as i would be travelling abroad the next day where there pools that i could swim in once there why am i complaing that their poolk was closed. I was angry at this response as i consider my stay at airport hotels to be the start of my holiday. I did fill in a complaints form in oct 08 re this matter and to date have had no response. i will not be staying at The Mecure again

Check-in effecient, parking facility well organised, room clean and transit to airport timely - overall a very good experience and we will stay again on our next trip out of Gatwick.

The car parking staff were very helpul. Cars are moved to make room for new cars arriving in the long term car park. The room was very noisy due to the airconditioning which couldn't be switched off either in the room or at the hotel's central controls. The bed was too small for too adults. Breakfasts were extremely expensive as was the 'courtsey' bus to the airport and back. Had to wait ages at the airport for the 'courtesy' bus back to the hotel.

The hotel has a welcoming reception area but on proceeding to room you could not help but notice that the hotel was due for refurbishment as carpets were worn and loose the room was very clean and well set out but electric fan supplied and some sockets did not work and to enable us to close door you had to slam it shut. Disappointed that pool area was closed. Not requiring a large meal we went to the bar area expecting to be able to get a lite snack but the menu was the same as the resturant and for a bar meal was shocked that fish and chips would be £13.00 each. When on holiday idont worry about money as long as i am enjoying myself but i did feel this was rather expensive. Transfer bus was on time enabling us to procede on our journey successfully.

Clean, warm and friendly. Car parking service was excellent. Rooms were comfortable, more than adequate for our overnight stay.

Dirty brown water from the taps, unable to wash or shower before leaving on a 20 hour flight. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Booked as a "secret" hotel where you didn't know the name before you completed booking. Stipulated minimum standards and the hotel exceeded them.

Fantasitic location for Gatwick airport. But as I said in my summary it needs a complete re-haul. Everything from the carpet upwards looks tired. The restaurant was pretty awful too, again needing complete refurbishment and they need a more up to date modern menu with no elevator music in the background. Neither I or my boyfriend or any member of our families will be returning to this hotel when flying from Gatwick. I hear the Gatwick Hilton is much better and does similar deals with parking.
