Car park 6 uses the same bus as carpark 7, so if car park 7 is cheaper use that.

not even a 10 mn bus ride to main departures/arrivals building. Secured and very good value for money.

This car park was the furthest from the airport hence the cheapest! Very quick transfer to the airport and on returning the bus was directly outside the airport terminal. Transfer was only 2-3 mins if you had parked closer it would have taken longer to walk. Am definitely booking again

The car park was easy to find the ANPR system recognized my number plate and it was all very painless. value for money. would recomend to anyone.

Almost went with out any problems, small issue of not scanning number plate, but just pressed intercom and gave my details and was issued a ticket and entered car park moments later. security seemed bery good and car was as it was left when we got back. Will definately use again.

The auto-registration did not recognise my registration when I got to the carpark, I pressed the help button and the staff did not recognise my booking number. They issued a ticket and said that would let me out when I returned... it did not! Again no number plate recognition and again pressed the help button as your exit machine wanted £60!!!! The staff said my booking number was not recognised and asked me to wait while they came to check my paperwork. They agreed I had a valid booking and let me procede, this was very embarrassing and inconvenient. The staff kept a copy of my booking form to "check it out" Did they? and can you tell me what the problem was? The carpark was good value but the worst procedure I have encountered at an airport carpark.

arrived early hours of the morning parked with ease didn't wait long for shuttle bus well impressed.

The car park was well signposted and easy to find.We found the park was secure and had good and regular transfer buses.

Excellent all around - the only one ask would be additional signage to transfer points - but really is a great service.

easy to find and very close to airport terminal . Good lighting on and around car park. Bus staff friendly and helpful gave us info about coming back and where to wait fro bus on return.will def use again as cheaper than other car park last year and closer to terminaL

The carpark is easy to find but the machine couldn't read my car registration plate even though the car is only 2 months old. However, I pressed the assistance button on exit, read out my booking reference and they opened the barrier. The carpark is a far way from the terminal and is open and lit so its not really secure. Would use again though.

I only had to wait about 5 minutes and was quick. I had no trouble parking and my ticket had my Car Reg. The Only thing was on my return didn't know the Bus Bays was other side of building when i got home and walked around building after asking someone. But on the Whole Very Happy and would use again! Thank you

If you intend to reach the car park after dropping off passengers and luggage at the Departures remember to bring coins for the gate as it costs you £1 at the exit. I was driving at night and the directions to the Car park 6 was not clearly sign posted at start from the exit at the Departures. It helps if you study the map and plan beforehand. There are so many car parks and until you get to the strech of road leading to the Car park 6 after turning right at the little roundabout at Departure exit, it can be confusing, specially at night. There is one postcode for the airport and shared by all the car parks and hence SatNavs are not very helpful unless you know how to enter latitude and longitude of the carpark into your satnav- these are available from East Midlands Airport website, and confirmation email from gosimply. The drive from the airport can be a little longer than you expect so leave ample time, and the signposting is generally good although the lettering is on the smaller side. Once you turn into the carpark entrance off the roundabout, it was noticably dark (probably a temporary problem with lighting) but the ticket issuing machine had its own lighting. The instruction was to stay put for some seconds (without pressing the ticket machine button) if you have prepaid. After about 10-15 seconds a ticket was issued automatically with your cars registration number printed on it and as you take the ticket out, the barrier opens. Finding a parking space was not difficult, but near the paying machine where you should aim, which is at the far end across from the entrance/exit barrier, the spaces were more busy. This is an open car park and make sure your windows are properly shut in case of rain, and your lights switched off. If you park close to the payment machine, there is only a short distance (ramped access) to the transfer bus stop. The busses are quite spacious and the drivers are friendly. You were not asked to show the carpark ticket on either journey although carrying it with you is advisable without leaving it in the car (for robbers). On the way back from your trip the Shuttle Bus stop is well sign posted and I didn't have to wait for long for the bus. Remember however not to get down at the first stop which is for the DHL warehouse passengers.

It was not clear from the booking procedure that the car park was actually quite a distance from the departure terminal. Further, once we had found the car park, there was no clear direction as to where we were to catch the shuttle. After having spoken to a very friendly staff member, we arrived at the shuttle stop, we did not have long to wait, and the driver was very friendly. On our return, we had just missed the shuttle. The driver however saw us and, when safe to do so, he pulled over and waited for us to get on the shuttle. All in all, not a bad place but people need to realise they will need a shuttle to the airport itself from the car park

Everything the site promised worked effectively and bus transfers were quick .

I took the option for disabled drivers to park in the short stay car park for the same price. This was a boon for me as the terminal is only a few yards away and I didn't have to lug my cases on and off the bus. I also changed my car between booking on-line and travelling, a quick phone call was all that was needed to update my details. I would recommend this service without hesitation especially for the disabled. One final thing of note - no surcharges for using a credit card.

Further than expected from airport entrance but transfers were on time and speedy. No hassle both ways. Good value for money - would use again!
