A note in the booking info about Hotel Hoppa bus number required would avoid the difficulty we had in getting back to the right Holiday Inn. Apparently our problems are experienced by many others according to the bus drivers and cabby we spoke to.

Very convenient for the airport, with efficient and speedy transfers by hopper bus. I had a good meal in the restaurant the night before my early morning flight. A most relaxing, hassle free start to my trip.

The hotel was geat value for money but ridiculously busy at check in. Don't expect help with your bags etc. The parking was fine for us but on exit of the car park was a sign from the police stating there had been 'break ins' recently and not leave anything on view! There had been a break in on our return.Fortunately not us.

Room should have been refurbished 10 years ago. Towels and linen although possibly clean looked dirty. Definitely not what I would rate a 4 star hotel. I arrived late so ate in the bar but food was just overpriced rubbish. I use Holiday Inn regularly and normally find them to be a good standard but this has to rate as the worst 4 star hotel room I have ever seen.

Paperwork was unclear where car would be parked. e.g. hotel or elsewhere. Was expecting to take car to alternative car park after stay at hotel. Car was moved after parking to another car park within the hotel complex. Had a difficulty finding my car in the car park at night.

We parked for 9 days and were told to park on the grass on arrival as full, we were placed beneath a tree on the assurance that they would move the car in the morning! We returned to a car that we could not see out of due to bird droppings, we complained but as yet have had no feed back from the hotel! We had to ask that they hose the car so we could drive home!

Didnt actually get any sleep as there was a fire alarm in the early hours which meant we were out in the freezing cold for some time before the fire brigade gave the all-clear. however it would have been a good experience. Transport was fine, but a little long-winded

We visited the hotel on the 27th December and found, the on site car park a complete disaster, it took 50 mins to find an un official space on the service road, also two of the four restaurants were closed and the price of the bar snacks were rather expensive.(two burgers a bottle of wine and a beer was nearly £80.00)The member of staff on reception was also confused as to what will happen to our car with regard to the secure parking. Overall the hotel was spotless and quiet and we would use it again.

Overall, this represented very good value for money - would definitely do it again. fire alarm went off around midnight - seemed to be very little organisation of guests by staff. Lots of people milling around, not really knowing what to do - no clear signal that situation was cleared. car to go to and from Heathrow was £9 each way. Room fine - facilities great.

We informed the hotel we would be arriving late i.e. after 10pm and when we arrived at 11.30 there was no parking space booked and no-one to park car for us and so we had to park on waste ground which we had to find ourselves round back of hotel which on a cold December night with two small children was not much fun. The cot and extra bedding were not ready either. The fire alarm went off shortly after we went to bed and there was no apology or compensation for getting two small children out of bed. Then when my husband attempted to buy some drinks from the bar following the fire alarm it was not permissable because I had not put my credit card behind the bar and he could not pay with cash which seems rather ridiculous.

I booked our room for 3 people, however on arrival found there was no bed linen, towels or cup for the third person, after phoning to reception had to wait a considerable time for this to be delivered. Our child was waiting to go to bed and couldn't, unfortunatly for a one night stay our service could have been a lot better

Location excellent, room excellent, check in fast, bar/restaurant v.poor service: food nice although serice from staff v.poor our wine arrived after our meal, strange!? Then the waitress tried to charge us for a more expensive bottle when questioned she said she didn't know how to overide the error and would we mind paying the extra!? Again strange? Overall value for money very good and i would do again.

This is the second time in a short space of time that I have stayed at this hotel AND used the 8 days parking facility. The last time was in July this year and it was obviously the height of season. The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff very helpful. My only one complaint with my stay in July was on my return from holiday I had to wait a long time in the queue at the reception to pick my car keys up, it would have been helpful to have had more staff on the front desk. But this was not the case for my recent stay. I would definatley use this hotel again and I have recommmended it to some of my friends.

Allow more time for checking in, reception area very busy and short staffed during our visit. Having said that the food was fantastic and our room and rest of service very good.

The process was considerably eased by the on-line booking facility. Check in/out at the hotel was easy and quick on both outward and inward trips. There was a bit of a delay waiting for the coach pick up from the airport on return but otherwise transfers to and from the airport were good.

We found the hotel both conveniently located with easy parking areas. The room was clean and very comfortable, it also contained tea/coffee making facilities which was welcome as we had leave early in the morning. We dined in their restaurant which found a pleasant experience. To summerise we would certaintly use your service again.

A clean, quiet and convenient hotel, reasonably priced for London with parking included. There was some confusion with our room - it had been double booked but this was dealt with promptly.

I've travelled a lot with work and frequently use airport parking services. On this occassion I purchased the combined hotel room and 15 night parking package. When I arrived I found there were no spaces and no information. I ended up parking my car in the pitch dark on double yellow lines round the back of the hotel, in the only bit of space I could find. At reception they assured me this was fine and that the car would be moved shortly. When I returned 2 weeks later my car was still sitting at the back of the hotel on the double yellow lines where I left it and it was badly damaged. A service lorry had backed into and written off the rear wing. What was most surpising is that they had not moved it from the double yellow lines to a secure parking bay as they said they would, even after one of their service vehicles had collided with it. When I reported it, the deputy manager, Ivan, was very apologetic. However, his senior colleague to whom I was refered was defensive and unfriendly and his only motivation seemed to be to inform me, in no uncertain terms, that Hilton were not respsonsible for the horrendous damage caused to my car. He seemed surprised when I responded calmly (no mean feat after a 25 hour journey) and walked off without so much as an apology or condolence. I was quietly stunned at the whole situation, but wasn't going to let it ruin my holiday mood. Also, Be warned, when you leave your car, Hilton issue a small paper slip upon which you hand write your licence plate number. If you lose this slip they charge you £90 to return your car. In all my years I have never come across such a blatant profit making scheme! Do not use this parking service. I would rather leave my car by the roadside! Although to be honest at £59 I should have known better. The room was fine. Lesson learned ... Remember, Hilton sell rooms and NCP sell car parking. Don't mix the two!
