Hotel was excellent value for money, quite and had blackout curtains. Car was kept at the hotel and made it far easier and quicker to collect especially handy when on an overnight flight with no patience to stand in yet another queue when you get back.

Was sent to wrong carpark to collect car on return due to A looking like D on tag. Otherwise we had a very enjoyable evening before our journey. We opted for a taxi to and from airport, staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Booked twin room and given double bed room so had to go back to reception for new twin room to be allocated - this was badly in need of refurbishment and when we had a shower at night the sink filled up with water which did not drain away overnight. Reported next morning so I hope it got fixed before next visitor. Car was moved as we were told it might be but on our return the seat position had been changed completely and radio left on programme we never listen too ! Car movers should leave car exactly as they find them.

Definately not a 4 star Hotel. Very few facilities. We chose to eat in the bar/pub. Very poor, it was freezing cold and they had a couple of space heaters dotted around, as I said NOT 4 star.

Directions to hotel were excellent; Hotel staff were efficient; room was exceptional; food in Sampams restaurant was superb. Shuttle bus to airport was a bit slow - apparently a pre-arranged taxi is just as cheap for 2 people.

We ate a bar meal in the pub part of the hotel. This was of a poor standard and there was no atmosphere there. Music playing was quite loud making conversation difficult.

getting to terminal 4 from terminal 1and back again involves a lot of walking to get to the Heathrow Express and this is very tiring when you are returning from USA. The drinks are very dear at the bar. over £6 for two cups of coffee.

Check in was quick and easy as was leaving the keys for my car. The room was very comfy and clean, although the mini bar was locked!! All in all a very good experiance.

Great value for money. Very convenient. Takes the strain out of getting an early flight. Parking arrangements are easy and well organised. Will use again.

Wonderful hotel great room, comfortable bed and plenty of room space. Bathroom condition and cleanliness perfect. Restaurant dining great altogether a wonderful stay.

Good value for money.Map to get to hotel very straight forward.Enjoyed meal at hotel. Would have preferred bed and breakfast option. Paid extra for breakfast.Would definatly use hotel prior to flying again.

On the night we stayed there was only one bar open which we found quite expensive and also there was only one restaurant open but apart from that it was absolutely fine, the staff were helpful and the room clean and comfortable. I would stay there again if I ever have another early morning flight.

Remarkably quiet rooms and helpful staff, though there were some queues. It cost almost the same to get a taxi to the airport rather than the horribly crowded bus. Very expensive food and drink due to the captive market. Badly lit rooms. However, for the money, a very good offer.

It was difficult to find a parking space on arrival at the hotel as the carpark was full. The rooms were very clean and the staff friendly. However, the standard of food in the restaurant was not very good - it was a buffet but the range of food was not very wide and some of it was just downright nasty! It was also expensive at nearly £20 per person. The extended car parking was easy - I just completed the forms and left the key with the staff. The Hoppa bus service was also very good and ran on time.

We had to wait an hour for the food which arrived luke warm if not cold. One main course arrived ten minutes after all the others were served. A club sandwich was ordered without egg, arrived with egg, which was then taken away, we assumed for a new order. However the same sandwich came back 15 minutes later, cold and with bits of egg still left in it! Awful!! If it hadn't taken so long for the food to arrive and we weren't so hungry and tired I think we would have sent it all back.

Hotel car park was so full when we arrived late evening that parking was up on kerb edges etc. Car was taken away presumably next morning and brought back OK. Suggest it's worth using the hotel's booked taxi service for T4. £16 each way and worth every penny so as to avoid using courtesy bus to T1 and then the Heathrow express.

My wife and I and our friends found the hotel very welcoming. There were several choices of where to eat. The room was excellently maintained with all the little personal touches and the daily newspaper is always a bonus!

It is an ok place to stay for the night, warm and dry. The food is very expencive!! but nice. The parking i was a bit worried about when we had the form to sign and it says they are going to move it!! (no were does it state that) but all was well. The bus to the airport was'nt that good, so we got a taxie for a pound more. But the people and serice were good.

on return they had parked car in car park but somone had parked in the gap in the first row so couldn't get out Unhelpful staff - actually said it wasn't their problem ! Well it was! - partly because the car park makings were so worn I could understand why the guy had parked there Wasted 30 minutes

I read previous reviews and was a bit concerned however there is nothing wrong with the hotel indeed it was very nice oh but the drinks are expensive! But you are on holiday
