Easy entry, but on return met by miserable desk clerk then exited terminal to get coach to long stay to find no signs/bus stop, and we and several others got on the wrong bus driven by extremely rude driver - a great welcome back to the UK afer our hol. Improved signage essential.

I have been flying from Cardiff for years and parking onsite. This year was really bad and I will not be parking onsite again. The park was so full I had to find a space in the farthest corner I have ever been in. The sign saying spaces was about a mile out. There was no-one in the car park at the time I parked. I did get a shuttle bus back with only a short wait mind. The cars were parked everywhere, doubled parked, parked on corners, parked on kerbs... I returned at 1 in the morning. Again not a sign of anyone on duty. I had to pick up my family from the pickup point. I had to drive half way around roose to get back there then enter the short term car park to get to them. It was a real nightmare. I used to love Cardiff, but I will be booking to go from Bristol from now on!

The car park was extremely crowded and it took us a long while to find a space very far away from the terminal. It was quite disorganised and no staff around to help! Buses were few and far between. When we arrived back in the middle of the night no bus and we wheeled our suitcases in relative darkness due to poor lighting and over a totally uneven surface as that was the only places left!!!

We have used this service many times with no problems at all except this year. On arrival at the airport at 4.30 in the morning the only space that could be found was literally at the very end of the overflow car park. I dread to think what would happen in the school holidays! and what would happen if you book months in advance and on arrival you wouldnt be able to find a space!!! Mind boggling..

Large car park adjacent to the terminal. Had to park in the overflow part as it was so busy so a trolley to carry luggage would have been handy (couldn't locate any on arrival). Very helpful gentleman in the booth helped us when we arrived and explained where to get our ticket validated on our return. Men in the terminal on return were not particularly friendly but did the job asked of them. Car was safe and sound on our return, which was the main reason for parking here.

I could see 3 main car parks at the airport. One was Short term, one Long term and another. I dreve around trying to find the sign for 'on airport parking' as was stated on my booking form, but there was not one!I fnally guessed at the long term, which was filled to capacity. Cars were parked on the road side as there were so few available spaces in the car park. I eventually found 1 space in a so called overflow carpark with chippings not tarmac. Not convenient for pulling a suitcase! There were no Row numbers in this area either. To sum up - not good value for money - a long way from the airport - there was a bus but it was raining to boot!

The car park was just about to close as I arived as it was full(4:45am). I found a space a long way away from the entrance, but fortunatley caugh the bus to the terminal. Coming out of arrivals the car park bus is a long way off at the end of the building, quite a walk if you are bit frail. But the bus driver was cheerful and we were at the car in a very short time. Overall? 9/10

difficult to find a space to park in even though we had pre-booked. Not many spaces available & no staff to help find vacant spaces. we we returned it was very difficult to leave our parking space as others had parked out of parking bays making reversing out very difficult.

OK if you can be dropped off and someone goes to park car because you must remember that you may not be able to park in the area right next to the terminal. We had a 5 minute walk thankfully with hand luggage to "U". If we had had cases we would have needed to wait for the bus - fair enough. If we had toddlers or grandparents with us as above.

I needed to park in the overflow area of the car park and that means a long walk. A nuisance when it is raining. There is a transfer bus if you are happy to hang about waiting. I have used this carpark many times and have never succeeded in parking near to the terminal building.

Car park quieter than when I normally use it. So facilities I saw where good on this occasion. Customer service was very good, person on barrier on entry to aid parking and give advice. New desk in arrivals at Cardiff which again well-manned, etc. Using again in June so will wait and see!

The departure arrangements were not not well signposted. Notice Referred to desk at rear of arrivals lounge. The desk was actually behind you when you exited baggage retrieval. This necessitated a return walk to terminal to obtain car park exit ticket. Previous arrangements had been show documentation at car park exit.

Maybe better info on what to do on arrival- eg. didn't know you had to get a ticket on arrival and then where to pay to get out. Other carparks use the booking no. to enter carpark- this is different so a bit confusing in the middle of the night if you didn't know.

Well worth the extra tenner to not have to wait around for transfers.Needs better lighting at the back of the car park where I was located as its a bit dark and not so good for single travellers.Payment desk is smack on top of the exit gate and I didn't have to wait to be served.Would definitely park there again for the price.

I use the airport and car park quite often - for business and for pleasure trips - it's a relaxed airport to reach and parking is no fuss. The only bad points are the overspill parking which is a big, gravel-covered field and how rarely the bus operates - it's often easier to walk. What's great is how easy it is to pull up outside the main terminal building and drop off a passenger and all the luggage and then to wander off and park the car - it's usually so quiet, nothing like the hassle and hustle and bustle of Heathrow or Gatwick. And a word of praise for the staff who, when I got stuck in Amsterdam and ended up arriving back in Cardiff eighteen hours late .... no surcharges just lots of sympathy. You know you're home in Wales!

A good service but imagine would have to park a lot further away in busy season although hopefully bus service would be more regular then. Would have been better if I'd realised that I had to get ticket validated inside the terminal before being able to exit car park therefore had to make two unnecessary 500 yard journeys by foot having already loaded family and luggage back into car. Maybe my fault for not reading instructions carefully.

I've used Cardiff airport (on site) parking for many years. Close proximity to airport reception and parking just 5 minutes away, (no transfer required by me but a free bus is available,) just great ! For Mid and south Wales air travellers, Cardiff, if available, is by far the most convenient.

The facilities were fine - no problems at all. But the staff were exemplary - friendly, helpful, efficient and cheery. In fact, the same could be said for all the staff at the airport.

When I booked the reciept said to follow signs for ON CARPARKING. This is not the case. The car park is owned by one company (NCP). This is the car park that you use and it is the only long stay parking at the airport. There was no problem parking in the overflow section but take it slow as the surface is not tarmac. The shuttle bus comes around every 5-10 minutes and takes you straight to departures. less than 2 mins on the shuttle or about 8-10mins walking (if you are in the overflow section). On return I hadnt clocked that the NCP offices had moved from the hut by the barriers but was instead near the exit of ARRIVALS. Make sure you find it before you leave arrivals or you will have to walk back( or shuttle) to arrivals like I did. They validate your ticket then when you drive up to the barrier pop your ticket in the machine and you can then leave. If I was flying from Cardiff I would definatly use the car park again as it so close.

On arrival I walked to the car park only to discover a notice on the office window saying they had moved to the arrivals area.I then had to walk (with luggage) all the way back to arrivals to get my exit ticket. It would have been good if I had been informed of this change prior to my departure via E Mail or post.
