I had booked into the Lounge in the East Hall but was very tired and found the lounge in the West Hall first so checked in there. This isn't nearly as nice as the lounge in the East Hall. Couldn't relax as much and the food didn't seem to be as nice. I wanted some peace and quiet but there were some very nosiy mobile phone users in the loung which made this impossible. Surely you could set aside an area where mobile phones aren't allowed or a small area where they can be used?

Overall the lounge was nice and comfortable apart from the air-con was set to freezing and hard to get away from. A little more privacy in the seating would be nice. The food was adequate but charging for a house wine seems a little petty.

The lounge was a comfortable area for rest. However, my purpose for using the lounge was to have a shower. Fortunately I asked about the shower the moment I arrived as I really needed one in transit. I was told there was a queue of 10 people ahead of me! That was a surprise as I thought there would have more shower areas but there is only one, I think. So we have to put our name down for booking. When I was called I was told the maximum time I can use the shower is 20 minutes. That was a bit stressful as women may take a little longer. So there is no way to wash my hair or apply makeup. Also in January it was really cold in HongKong. The shower do not really have hot water and the pressure was low, so I ended up with a superficial wash.

Excellent place for some peace and quiet and to put your feet up with toilets close by. Shame they didn't have the facility for hot food or more substantial cold food like sandwiches but they did have crisps and nuts and cheese and crackers as well as muffins and cake so enough to get you through. Would definitely use again.

This is the perfect option for anyone flying economy who has a couple of hours in HK between connections. Have a shower, something to eat and drink, relax in a peaceful lounge. Money very well spent to help you arrive at your destination feeling human. The Lounge near gate 1 is better than the one near gate 36 as the showers are on the same level.

They are clean and convenient, though the air conditioning is a bit fierce in the lounge near Gate 1.

I had a late night flight and after checking out of my hotel at noon and being outside was in desperate want of a shower! I didn't think this was included in the price i'd paid, but when i mentioned it at the front desk they took my name and said they'd call me when it was free. 30 min later someone came to show me where the shower was, and it was a super nice rain shower with towels and toiletries provided at no extra cost. Great noodles and other food, and free wifi. Loved this lounge!
